Deville Coffee — Restaurant in Calgary

We desperately need a good coffee shop in the area. Somewhere to hang out and people watch or a nice stop while out for a walk.

We've been 2 times to DeVille and we are disappointed. First time the avocado toasties were literally coated with a layer of chili flakes, inedible. The second time, the young lady working the counter was unhappy/bored/frustrated - Hardly a crack of a grin (not even a smile) very little interaction, ( and we watched her for 15 minutes with other customers) just not what you'd expect in a place like that. I absolutely loved this place! It was so welcoming and warm! It’s such a good calming environment, wether you’re getting some work done or catching up with old friends. The drinks were fabulous! The hot Chocolate is definitely a new favourite! The staff were incredibly helpful, and kind, Hailey at the front of house was especially a stand out! Googled coffee shops in the area and it led us all the way to the top of the hill to this place. Light airy place with plants. The first thing I saw when I walked in was the high ceilings and the HUGE cookies. They were $3 and had 4 flavors.
