It's 10 minutes to close. Literally the last thing any employee anywhere wants is a person to walk in as you're trying to leave. You've cut your staff to go home, the rest are trying to clean up and prep, and yet, here I am, walking in. Starving. it's been a long as day. Time to stuff my face. I order, I'm excited. Burger? Yup. Fries? Is that a question? Milkshake? ** IT! And then it happens...."There's no more milkshakes....and we're out of fries" And in my mind, I'm thinking "that's literally 66% of the reason I'm here."
But then there's Sean.
Sean isn't your ordinary Five Guys employee. Sean kicks * and chews bubble gum, and just like the fries and shakes...HE'S ALL OUT OF BUBBLE GUM. Sean single-handed, like some kind of Burger Jesus, splits the remaining fries for the day between THREE PEOPLE, makes the milkshake machine bend to his will and makes TWO MORE, and because he feels he's short changed three customers on their fries, refunded us both.
See, Five Guys, if you're out there, it's not about being a billion dollar chain. It's not about getting food anywhere. It's about understanding that EVERY customer matters. That they could've gone anywhere five minutes before close, but they chose (SORRY) your franchise, and I'm happy to say that if genetic cloning ever becomes a thing...YOU WANT MORE SEANS.
In closing, sick burgers, dirty fries, and filthy milkshakes. 10/10 will eat at this location again, and you have...

I had a terrible experience at this 5 Guys location. I came for lunch and ordered my food, but all the tables were dirty with grease, ketchup, peanut shells, and other messes. I had to clean my own table before I could sit down. Then I got my burgers, and they were the greasiest burgers I have ever had from 5 Guys. The grease was dripping down my arm so much that it almost reached my armpit. The toppings were also sloppy and careless. I paid a lot for this food, and I'm very angry and disappointed. This location needs to be shut down until they have staff who can do their job properly. There were 6 people in the kitchen, but none of them bothered to clean the place. The franchise owner should be fined or lose their license for letting this happen. I'm going to report this to the better business bureau and the health board, because this is unacceptable. I also want a full refund from 5 Guys for this awful meal. I have been to many other locations, but this one is the...
Read moreI recently visited Five Guys and had a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. I ordered two cheeseburgers, fries and a milkshake, looking forward to a satisfying meal. However, the service left much to be desired.
First, when I requested a small bag for peanuts, I was refused and told to use a cup without a lid instead. I was driving and ordered take out so why wouldn’t a bag be supplied? This felt unnecessary and a bit unaccommodating, especially given the usual service standard at Five Guys.
The biggest letdown was the milkshake. When it arrived, it was very runny. I politely brought this to the cashier's attention, only to be told that the consistency was "fine." To my dismay, the cashier then opened my milkshake without asking and stuck a straw in it, which felt invasive and unprofessional.
Overall, this was the worst experience I've had at Five Guys. Poor service and a subpar milkshake have left me with no...
