Humpty's Big Plate Diner - Southwood Corner — Restaurant in Calgary

Pretty much everyone has heard of "Humptys". I was at the southland drive one. The service my son and received was up and beyond expectations! Our server was explaining ways to save money on what I ordered (was one of the meals u can substitute one item for another) . She was so inviting and her sense of humor was awesome! I haven't been there (humptys) honestly for years. I can't speak for all humptys, I can tell u this location deserves 10☆'s . She even let us stay until we finished our desert,as they were technically closed. Absolutely no rushing us. Matter fact we sat and chatted a little! Food ...fresh and awesome. This was the first time at this location and it's been a couple of years since I've been to Humpty's, so I was happy to be there.

The restaurant is really clean. It looked comfortable and the booth felt right.

The server and service was really good. The server was polite and attentive and the food came out quickly, hot and fresh.

I was looking forward to the pancakes and they were good, but not quite the same as they were a couple of years ago.

Would I go back....heck yes!!! I'll try a few of the other favorites I haven't had...

Haven't been to this location for awhile, but the last time I was there it was good, service was always good. I do live closer to the one that was in the south, but the service was for the most part very poor and now I see it is closed. It should have closed years ago as the staff there didn't care about their customers. I hope they aren't working at any other locations!
