Subway — Restaurant in Calgary

Usually, I always try to give 5 stars to every place I visit, but this Subway forced me to give 1 star. I went to this location on February 25, 2025, around 8:30 PM, and the experience was absolutely pathetic.

The service was extremely poor. The two girls working—one seemed older, like an aunt, and the other was younger—were both extremely rude and racist. I ordered two footlongs that were on sale, and from the way they treated us, it felt like we had committed a crime. The Sub were made terribly. When I simply asked for a little extra onion, she rudely said, “We cannot do that.” She didn’t even bother to put the proper amount of sauce, making the sandwich completely dry. My bill clearly stated three passes for sauce, yet they only put one.

To see if this was just how they treated everyone, we sat there and observed. After me, a Canadian customer came in, and the same staff suddenly became polite, smiling, and welcoming. When she asked for extra cucumber, they gave it to her without hesitation. They even let her sample a sauce—something they outright refused to do for me.

If you are Indian, do not go to this Subway. I even told them not to be racist, especially to their own people, but they clearly have no respect. They treat Indians as if we are beggars asking for free food. Absolutely pathetic. I will never go back, and I would never recommend this...

Just to aware all vegetarian fellows .Last night i went to this location and while waiting for other ppl to order i observed that girls are touching meat and without changing gloves the same girl is adding veges to the sub. Upon my turn i asked the girl if they change gloves to touch veges she said no we dont change gloves and all veges are contaminated with meat.. i went to another subway where i observed they have one girl for meat section and one for vege and for every customer they are changing gloves . I still asked the girl if their veges are contaminated with meat she said no we dont touch veges with same gloves . I hope management will read and act wisely because there are alot of vegetarians who would expect that veges should have no...
