McDonald's — Restaurant in Calgary

Absolutely THEE WORST customer service I or anyone I've known has ever had, anyone i work with will vouch and clearly many customers that put reviews here too feel the same! I and my wife have worked at McDonald's before and I was appalled how this one manager talks her customers. Middle aged Filipino lady with a ponytail and accent, about 5foot 3, dark blue shirt (swing manager or kitchen manager) there on tuesday January 10th at 10:15pm till 11pm. 1st of all she walked away in the middle of my order twice, i told her it twice. She didn't even take it down for 10mins! I had to ask her at least 3 times because she kept walking away! Or arguing with me. When it was done. She made rude comments as she handed the food. Her and another Filipino lady were looking at me and gossiping as I was eating. I was going to let it go that they messed up my order, I'm not the only one to comment they mess up orders check the reviews! 1 in every 3 times they mess it up but I usually let it go. But after she wouldnt stop glaring me down thats when I told her she messed up my order, I showed her and she literally started gossiping about me to a 4foot 11 Filipino lady, infront of me and other customers. Even when my order was remade she trash talked me calling me a problem and I told her this is unacceptable and feel uncomfortable, its rude and i dont appreciate it. Both of them didn't even both to gossip in Tagalog. They literally made comments about me in English as I picked up my food and I politely told her to stop MULTIPLE times even as I went to sit down, I told her "I just wanna eat my food and go, I don't wanna talk to you", she stood at the counter and CONTINUED all the way until I told her she's very rude, and I'm going to talk to her manager. And before they even closed she kept telling me to leave the store while I was eating. I told her its not even 11pm yet and I'll only be 5mins but she bothered me CONSTANTLY till I finally got up...

Between the lack of procedure, absent leadership, extended wait times and overall disorganization happening at this location something needs to change. With few places to eat in this area this would be considered a gold mine but to the frequent dismay of the attendees they are left upset and frustrated with this location. Management is absent in taking control of problems happening on the day to day basis and employee training is so poor that staff are confused on simple McDonalds staples such as a big mac meal or counting 10 pc Mcnuggets. I have been in the area for over a year and seen the quality go from minimum to poor in that time. With peak hours creating 20+ min wait times to slow periods having around 10-15 min for these same simple orders I see no reason to ever recommend this location for anyone looking for a quick or cheap meal. As a fun side note the only hand dryer in the men's restroom is mounted 3 feet or so off the floor making it more trouble to use than it is to simply use napkins. I find having to kneel or bend so far down to attempt to dry my hands and be sanitary difficult and over looked. The list of problems could go on but this needs to be an eye opener for the location owners if they want to be more successful or grow.

Edit: A year has passed and decided to give the location another go as coworkers were going for lunch. I ordered a drink and ice cream and to my Sprouse the service was great. Easy,quick, correctly relayed to me. Sadly the staff still failed to deliver on 1/2 correct items. Still wish this...

Rocketed through in a huge rush only to find out that they were out of fries at pickup window after having paid. I waited just shy of 20 minutes and was about to leave when some poor kid wandered out looking flustered with both hands full of bags trying to figure out who in the parking lot, now full of vehicles, had ordered what. I had the pleasure of watching some disgusting wildebeest of a woman desperately paw through my bag of food like a pig hunting truffles before braying that it wasn't her feast. Apparently the kid's description and the receipt stapled to the bag wasn't enough to convince her that it didn't contain her feed for the hour. When she was done, he still brought the bag to me. One look at the fries cooked to a withered stick of their former glory without the specifically ordered ketchup packets to choke it all down, a burger that had been mashed flat by the woman's hoof and the wrapper half open from being rooted through had me out of time, frustrated and hungry but disgusted so the whole bag went out the window. Not even a straw for the coke full of ice that was meant to be diet and no ice. A harsh reminder of why I try not to eat fast food at all and why you should never trust a Scotsman dressed like a clown.
