Update. These folk are not even checking for Covid. Do not care about anything.
Myla the "Peoples Manager" needs to go back to school and learn simple math and not lie to the customer. Purchased a big breakfast. Cost $4.50. Swiped with a $5 gift card I see it go through. Cashier says it did not yet I saw it did and showed remaining balance of 0.50. Get told swipe again and now get told I need to pay $4. I explain to the cashier what happened, and she does not listen and says I have to pay again. Eventually Myla comes, I explain to her and starts questioning my integrity. I say to her lets go check the balance on the card as I believe now I was charged $5 for a $4.50 meal. She checks the card, I see a balance of zero and she says no her computer shows 50c. I tell her nonsense, the terminal showed zero. I say check again, we do that, I show her on the pin pad it shows zero, then she changes her tune. We finally get this resolved, she gives me back 50c in cash no apology, only to say the cashier did not tell her I swiped my card twice. Nonsense. I told you she asked me to swipe twice and processed the transaction twice. This Myla then proceeds to this white young kid working at the cashier and asks for his name, then proceeds to scold him in front of guests about who told him to work the cashier. Firstly Myla you should know who your employees are and secondly Myla you don't scold them in front of customers. At no point did Myla apologize. Oh and while trying to resolve this, my breakfast got cold. Thanks Myla
Update. Ordered tonight 18/01/2021 through Skip. Amongst other things I ordered the fish sandwich. I wave always received a slice of cheese. Tonight half a slice. Times are tough but this not a way to save cost for you. Its your business I am a paying customer. Discount the food...
Read moreThis is one of the worst McDonald's that I have been to in Calgary. They never had anyone at the counter even when it's not busy. Then it takes over 10 minutes for them to hand you over a large fry and when I got them they were soggy and not warm. Which makes absolutely no sense when they are taking that long to be handed over. The drive-thru was not busy there was nobody going through at that time and then when I sold the lady how long it was taking on my receipt she tried to tell me that it was only 2 minutes when I showed her the time and my receipt that it's been over 10 minutes. Good customer service in simple math isn't that hard. The late night staff needs to be supervised better by their managers! It's not social hour in the back of the restaurant. Order a large try and all they got in there was at least a medium. Not to mention when I was here last week and I ordered a chicken bacon wrap it didn't have the bacon for the cheese on the wrap. We had to send it back three times we were very thankful for the lady that was working at the cashier she was very helpful unlike the people who are cooking the food how hard is it to cook these...
Read moreThey need to make a 0 star option because this place is simply the worst. You’ll never see an employee, they all hide in the back and focus on drive thru only. They prematurely clear the order numbers from the screen so that they don’t get in trouble for taking “too long.” They also are pretty much unavailable if you wanted to order in person. The kiosk are perpetually out of paper so you don’t get a receipt. It’s just a bad location.
Update: Wow. Just wow. Not even busy here and they just refuse to serve. I’ve been waiting 14 minutes for one sandwich. The drive thru was empty when I arrived and 3 people waiting before me. Now the whole restaurant is full of people waiting. How can you call yourself fast food when the food is supposed to be already cooked and thrown in a bag and you can’t even do that. I swear I will never be back here. This is the worst service in all of Calgary. Can’t help but wonder if it’s because the employees can barely afford speak English yet have jobs in “customer service.” Atrocious. I will be reaching out to corporate because this “cheating time” with clearing your “now serving” screens...
