Well fellow NW residents we have a new gem to add in the crown. I tried the new Meltwich Location in Crowfoot today and have to say they nailed it. Greeted by a smiling gal at the counter was offered a couple very unique options. Since it was my first time I just wanted to " dip my toe in the pool " and settled with a Philly Cheese Steak ( add garlic dilll sauce) and Chocolate Shake. Fresh Bun , tender beef that was seasoned to perfection. The shake was handmade , well belnded with fresh ingredients ..they nailed it. Next up for this review we settled on the Classic Melt ( grilled cheeee) just to be sure, that based their whole namesake, they could produce above average sandwich. Pretty much nailed it again . Fresh and cooked evenly. Both orders were delivered by the smiling owner himself who wss cooking the food in the back. He appeared proud of his new restaurant and his food . Goes along way with me. Place was clean and well organized . This is an individually owned franchise and pride in ownership shows. So folks support local and do yourself a favor and try Meltwich ! They have a full plant based menu as...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying the Nashville chicken sandwich at Meltwich Crowfoot, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff, particularly the owner Manmeet, made the experience even better with their warm hospitality.
The Nashville chicken sandwich itself was a burst of flavors. The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy on the inside with a crispy coating—and generously seasoned with just the right amount of spice. The combination of the tangy pickles, creamy coleslaw, and spicy mayo complemented the chicken beautifully, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. Overall, my experience at Meltwich Crowfoot was nothing short of exceptional. The delicious Nashville chicken sandwich, coupled with the friendly service from Manmeet and his team, made it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by Meltwich Crowfoot for a flavorful treat that will leave your taste buds...
Read moreIt's 5:30 in the afternoon. No customers in the restaurant and only one employee - this should have sent up some red flags for us but we had never tried the place so away we went. My wife ordered an avocado grilled cheese and I ordered a cheese bacon burger. We both ordered the poutine. My wife described the sandwich as mushy and bland. My burger was dry and cooked out - no juice at all left in the burger and not enough sauce added to make it juicy. A pickle fell out of my burger so I ate it by itself and even the pickle was bland. The frys for the poutine were also mushy and undercooked. So for a grilled cheese sandwich, a burger and two orders of poutine we paid $48 - I can't even believe this price. Maybe if it was flavorful I could take the price but the food was terrible. A one was the lowest I could give them for the food but I would have rated it...
