This is regarding the unlimited paani puri experience that this restaurant has put up . They don’t know how to handle big crowds - very unprofessional unruly behaviour by the guy serving pani puris . I had clearly given a heads up that ours will be a big group and if he has capacity to serve -he willingly accepted over the phone call but clearly they can’t handle . When you can’t run the business in the way you advertise , then shut the place & back off . Wouldn’t pay a dime to this place & I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone .
Responding to the owner comments :
Do you recognize your own business number ? I have attached a pic of the call that went out of my phone yesterday . If you have had the capability of recording customer calls - open your call log recording at 12:02 PM and keep your ears wide open to listen in the conversation I had where I clearly mentioned we are a big group coming is it okay? Dont you comment again blaming customers as spreading false information . This clearly shows your etiquette of serving customers in your business .
Secondly we are not calling you rude just cos u stopped serving in between . We are calling you unprofessional and unruly because you didn’t start serving us before the previous pani puri group finished , we waited patiently. But you started serving a new group even before our group was done just because you were frustrated with our big group not being done and you did not want to make the other pani puri group wait . When we waited patiently for our turn and your pani puri guy didn’t bother to serve until they were done, we expect the same commitment until our group was finished before you started to barge in and start serving other groups . If you don’t want to stop other customers then have a cap on your customers saying no large groups allowed or more than 6 persons because clearly that’s all is your capacity to handle .
As a business - first read Google policies and guidelines on how respectful you should be to your customers when responding , without that basic etiquette you won’t...
Read moreWarning: Do not order delivery from this restaurant! They lied about delivery. Food never received. I had to escalate with Skip the Dishes management and refund was denied repeatedly because of the lie.
At 7:12 p.m. on Sun, June 2, 2019, I ordered delivery from Mint Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant in Calgary via the Skip the Dishes app while watching Game 2 of the NBA Finals game. At approx. 7:35 p.m., I received notification that my order was on its way (4 mins) from delivery driver "Danial." At 7:41 p.m., the app showed successful delivery even though I had not yet received my order. By 7:51 p.m., I made my way to the lobby of my building waiting. I also started an app chat asking for status of delivery. By 8 p.m., I was informed by Skip support that the courier was unresponsive, the restaurant said I picked up my order because I was waiting to long and the restaurant is now closed. No refund would be issued. At this point, I had no dinner and no refund.
I was appalled a restaurant and courier would lie!
I asked Skip support repeatedly for management to escalate my complaint. After some back and forth, I finally received a phone call at 9:10 p.m. from Rakesh, Skip Supervisor, who resolved my complaints. Thank you, Rakesh, for your customer service. I received a refund, credits and a re-order of my food despite the restaurant being closed.
While Skip resolved the issue, never trust Mint Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant for delivery. They have the audacity to lie about honest customers. I have already advised my entire network to never eat or order at Mint Leaf.
I also advise Skip the Dishes and all delivery apps to remove Mint Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant as a restaurant partner.
Warning: Do not order delivery from this restaurant! They lied about delivery. Food...
Read moreThe worst catering experience we have had with them.
My husband and I were shopping around for caterers for our wedding and Lakshay and his father very pleasantly signed us on. They were very sweet and nice till we paid the deposite and signed the contract. That's when they flipped on us.
2 weeks before the wedding, Lakshay denied us servers that we had talked about and our mistake, we didn't get that in writing. Then they charged us $400 extra on top of what we initially agreed on.
The food was great, no doubt but the service during the wedding was horrible. They were rude to our guests and were low on appetizers for our guests. They took the left over food back ( I wonder what they did with that).
They put the dinner out 30 mins late and wrapped up within 1 hr. My husband and I didn't even get a chance to eat.
They left the kitchen area in a very dirty condition and left curry stains on the floor which we have to pay for now.
We tried to talk to them and I was told the customers make up things all the time and we cannot believe them. They asked my guests to buy ice for them. Last minute called and asked my husband to pick up the sweets from thier shop.
Very unprofessional, rude and money hungry people. Anytime you want to give feedback , the response is "we have been doing this for a long time".
If you are getting catering from them, make sure to get each and every detail in writing otherwise they will...
