Noodlebox — Restaurant in Calgary

It’s been a while since I last had fried rice here. The ingredients are still generous and varied, with a good portion size. However, something about the flavor just isn’t the same—maybe it’s the cook, the sauce, or both. The fried rice lacked that distinct taste I remember. Some of the rice was clumped together, and despite ordering medium spice, there was no heat at all. The dish even looked quite pale.

Went in to Dine in at 9.30. Place is supposed to close at 10, the guy at the restaurant only gave us take out and did not allow to dine in. However. Once we got home, food was completely different than what we ordered. Went to this NW location of NoodleBox for dinner and it was a good experience overall. Ordered a Drunken NoodleBox with chicken and a Spicy Peanut Noodle box. Liked the Peanut one as it was creamy and balanced in spice and flavour. But the sauce on the Drunken NoodleBox was extremely salty, to the point that it was difficult to eat as it was too much on the palate.
