Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

ordered form here last night for the first time. will not order this pizza again. My order showed up incomplete and by incomplete i mean half my items were missing. I asked the driver about it and he became belligerent and argued with me that the order was correct. (totally earned his $8 tip!) Had to call to get the the rest of my order delivered and when it finally arrived the Garlic butter dip was leaking and ruined my hoodie and the other dip was completely opened and all over my food. As for the food itself the pizzas were terribly lacking on toppings and the placement was baffling. each pizza had a sad little clump of toppings in the center of the pizza. i have seen better presentation and value from no name pizza at Wal-mart! It might as well have been called expensive cheese bread rather than pizza. it seems to be a cost cutting trend. i don't expect to get some crazy amount of toppings but this was just plain cheap and deliberate which makes me wonder if this is just a location issue or if this is standard for all in the chain. the only positive was that the Parmesan and garlic wings were cooked to perfection. i know that times have changed and that value and customer service has declined everywhere but this was subpar in both cases and ultimately i decide where i spend my hard earned dollars and it will not be here. there was no accountability or attempt to make this right or to retain my business. i will not be ordering from here again and i will also recommend that my friends, family, coworkers, and who ever is reading this not to take the...

I placed an order for pick up late in the evening. My husband ordered the toppings and I ran inside just to pay and pick them up. Tried to be friendly to the guy - basic hello how is your night kind of small talk - and was completely ignored. He just went and grabbed the two pizzas and gestured at me to pay. He asked me if they were mine when I acted hesitant and I said I hope so lol he asked me what I ordered and I said I'm not sure just that it's two large pizzas and it should be under either my name - gave him my name- or my husband's name. He immediately became defensive and said he wasn't going to give me the pizza unless I could tell him what they were. I said well it should be under one of the names I gave you and he looks at the boxes and insists that there's no name. I was like are you sure? He sort of throws the box at me and tells me to look. Sure enough it's my name. He got really quiet while I paid. And asked him if he was ok because he was being really rude. He then explodes at me and tells me to pay and get out and not come back and that it was ok if he was rude because I was somehow rude first. EXTREMELY poor service from the self proclaimed 'store manager'. Pizza was lacking on the toppings (mainly the meat) and dough was harder than usual. Absolute disappointment. Even with a half off one pizza coupon 2 pies costed $45. That a premium price, would have been almost $60 without the coupon/special. WORST VALUE EVER! Seriously let down, very skimpy topping, some spots are literally sauce only. Hardly any cheese, took 50 minutes to arrive, little Ceasars tasted better and they cost 4 times less money. Plus after ripping me off for $45 and giving me $20 worth of pizza they are either too weak or too lazy to actually CUT the pizza. That big pizza cutting knife is supposed to cut through the crust not just drag it through the toppings. If you are just going to drag an uncleaned/unsanitary knife through my toppings without actually cutting anything then other than crosscontamination what purpose does this serve? Dough was so chewy and tough we could barely RIP the pieces apart as the patheticly sparce topping slide off leaving a mess. Pizza was about as thick as the cardboard it was served in. I can't find one good thing to say about this experience...
