This place was not korean at all. First off, the rice was cold and bitter. They offered unlimited rice if the table ordered 80% food for the entire party. There were 3 people in our party and we got 2 main and one side and the staff said they wouldnt offer free refills since appetisers did not count. But why would I get a refill on the rice if its cold and almost solid as some were stuck on the bowl? The side dishes were LACKING especially the kimchi, there was no lettuce and it was just liquid and a few pieces of onion. This should be the basic part of a korean restaurant, the side dishes. The menu options were like fusion, like they have tonkotsu, which is a popular japanese dish in a korean restaurant. We got that one along with a bibimbap which is a big bowl of rice filled with different assortments of veggies and meat. The Bibimbap was alright since it is ment to be served cold and the flavour was alright. On the other hand, the tonkotsu dish came with fried pork cutlets which came out cold and extremely chewy. The sauce that came with the pork was just curry sauce with corn, dosent even taste like an authentic japanese dish served at a korean restaurant. Overall, the main dish portions were decent, but the pre made stuff that gets served in every item on the menu was lacking and cold, it was obioustly pre made.
The staff seemed like they get your attention every minute for you to order something, hopin that each person gets an expensive main dish. After you order, they don't even approach your table except for when they came out with the food. The food came out fast like 5 minutes after you order. Thats because everything was pre made in bento boxes which is a japanese style meal. When I walked towards the bathroom, I immeadiately noticeed the kitchen spot so empty and quiet, like there was no steam or smell of anything cooking at the back! When we notified the staff for side dish refill, they would say ok, and after we finished our meal, still nothing. We werent going to wait any longer for some spicy liquid with no lettuce for the kimchi.
The atmoshere was very small and limited. I noticed people leave quickly due to the cold food.
only thing id recommend is the bibimbap which is a good korean dish, as this restaturant is great for serving cold food. The bulbugi was also...
Read moreA terrible experience, never going back! There were five of us, and we had made a reservation. However, when we arrived, the server tried to seat us at a table meant for four, expecting all five of us to squeeze in. We requested them to combine two tables to make a six-person setup, but the server seemed very unwilling to accommodate.
We ordered quite a lot since we were a larger group, but the small table was completely inadequate. The entire dining experience, from ordering to paying the bill, lasted less than an hour, including the time it took for the food to arrive. During that time, while one of our friends was still eating, we were rushed three times by the staff to clear our plates. Such behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional.
The experience was awful, and the food wasn’t even that good. It was truly terrible. Can you imagine the embarrassment of inviting friends out for a meal, only to choose the wrong place? With such service, I wanted to leave a very small tip, but the minimum was 15%. Never...
Read moreFood is legit, really good seafood pancake. But in the middle of the meal while we were scarfing down our food they come over and ask if we’d like the bill. Weird… but okay? 5 mins later someone else comes over asking if they can take away my tray which is very obviously not done and if anyone had any observation skills they’d realize we hadn’t set our chopsticks down once yet. We were very much still enjoying our meal, or at least trying to! Then my daughter wants to add a drink and a couple mins after they come around to start clearing the table…. I get they’re busy, it’s a small space and they got people on the waitlist but this amount of pressure to hurry up, eat and get out doesn’t make for the most enjoyable experience. Also, when they drop off food at your table they don’t pause to see if you have what you need - they just dash off to the back and don’t even look at you. They forgot things a couple times so that was frustrating and I would’ve let them know immediately had they not ran off. Train your...
