I keep going back to Rosso hopeful (because it gets hyped up all the time) and yet I always end up leaving disappointed with what I have ordered. Every Chai latte/iced chai I’ve had just tastes watered down and bland. Last night a friend got a cookie and it was the greasiest oil filed hunk of carb I have ever actually tasted (that wasn’t my own baking fail) from a coffee shop. It was so greasy that we had to use napkins to clean our fingers. And we split the cookie four ways because no one actually wanted to finish it and yet didn’t want it to go to waste. Though I do think that if the cookie had been made properly, not in a pan and with significantly less oil/butter/ghee/shortening (whatever was used), it probably would have been a more enjoyable cookie. I personally ordered a candy cane hot chocolate, expecting a rich, chocolatey experience with a subtle flavour of peppermint. However instead I was met with a lukewarm dissatisfying and underwhelming drink dominated by the prominent taste of watered down warm dairy milk. There was maybe a mild hint of peppermint and the hot chocolate. But I had to actually try and look for the flavours as all I could honestly taste was just the milk. The foam art on the top was lovely, however it did not make up for the disappointing flavour. I paid almost $6 for a drink that I didn’t even end up finishing. I believe this will probably be my last time willingly spending money at a Rosso franchise due to the poor quality of the drinks and food. Maybe the coffees are better, but as someone who doesn’t drink coffee- Rosso needs to up their game. It’s pretty sad when Tim hortons makes a better hot chocolate than a bougie cafe.

Thoroughly impressed with this cafe! Ambiance is really good. Drink quality is superb! Hospitality is everything you could want & then some! At the Inglewood location, there were two fantastic baristas that I had the privilege of meeting. Both Rory and Marvin made me feel welcome. When it was time to leave, I needed help with directions. Rory looked it up on his phone and then double-checked with his co=workers, while Marvin generously offered me a coffee sample. I loved the cafe so much that when I found out that they had another location in close proximity, I went to check it out. I arrived just a few minutes before closing, and yet Danielle was excited to have me visit the cafe. Her mocha was spectacular; she even re= pulled her espresso shot when she wasn't satisfied with the first one, and let me try the first shot on its own. When I go back to Edmonton, I can't wait to tell everyone about this remarkable coffee company!

The Rosso has truly mastered the art of coffee and pastries. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm, buttery croissants creates an inviting atmosphere. Their lattes are perfectly balanced, smooth, and topped with beautiful latte art – a true treat for both the eyes and the palate. But the pastries are where. Each croissant is a flaky, golden masterpiece, with a tender interior. Their fruit tarts are bursting with fresh, seasonal flavors, and the chocolate eclairs are simply divine, with a rich, velvety cream filling. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend a new pastry or coffee blend. Whether you're looking for a quick morning pick-me-up or a leisurely afternoon treat, The Rosso cafee offers an exceptional experience that will leave you craving more. It’s the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends
