The Den — Restaurant in Calgary

The staff is very very slow. It’s was not that busy and it took 15 minutes just to get my beer and then they forgot to hit send on my order. The waitress did offer a discount which was very nice.

I do not put this review on the staff fully, management needs to be making sure that things are running smoothly and they were no where to be seen.

Speaking of which, in many European countries the beer is room temperature but damn this was very warm like the keg wasn’t chilled and didn’t sit for 24-48hrs.

I had to get the food to go so that part won’t be reviewed.

The bar needs a deep clean, I can see that the areas where the glasses are needs a full disinfectant. There is a smell that was a bit mildew like. Hopefully that is okay lol.

Nice place on campus to catch a meal - the prices are reasonable and they have some tasty items! I deducted 1 star because they are hard to reach! When my colleagues and I reserved a table, we simply filled out their online form and did not receive confirmation of the booking. We showed up and they said there "was a reservation for 6 at this time" so they didn't even have our name/details although the reservation seemed to have gone through. the korean bbq chicken did NOT SERVE at all. it was straight up breading and it was not even seasoned! you can tell that it was drowned in butter cause that's all you can taste, explain how that chicken looked medium rare, wendy's nuggets have more meat than those chicken tenders that they're serving. i have never seen a place disrespected korean bbq chicken like that...for $18!? aint no way, that's 1.15 hour of work with minimum wage pay. its not the cook's fault, but whoever created that recipe needs to rethink their actions. the garlic parmesan pizza bomba actually slapped tho, and our server was amazing 10/10 (not the korean...
