Like most who have been at the U of C for more than a year, I'm pretty much sick of everything in Mac Hall. However, the affordability of the mini-bento boxes kept me coming back - until they increased the price. The problem is their food is so old it's revolting. Paying $9 for crusty rice, cabbage, some luke warm soggy tempura, and meat that resembles cat food more than else anything is not worth it. You're better off eating from somewhere else for...

Have tried most things on the menu and the last one was the shoyu ramen. I got half an egg, it was fully boiled and not marinated at all, one piece of meat, and really, really plain broth, and there wasn't much of the other usual ingredients. Seriously...
