The food and coffee is fine at this location, it's more the service I'm not a fan of. The manager on shift actually served me (Marco), and I personally hate it when people hand me things without telling me what it is. Like I don't know if that's my order or someone else's, and especially with COVID, last thing I want is to touch any one else's food or drinks. When I was missing an item from my order, I had to say "excuse me" four different times before a staff member acknowledged me, and even then, she gave me a difficult attitude even before I informed her I was missing something.
I'm in customer service myself, so I can appreciate the fact if they're busy or maybe even had a bad day, but that's no excuse to treat clients like we are a burden. I think this would be a great coaching opportunity for the staff, and hopefully the service can match the quality of food and items. Thanks for all your hard work, and hopefully this review will provide some light on a great coaching...
Read moreThey're definitely not worried about keeping this place clean, which is made more obvious by its rather slim layout. There was a low staff level when we visited, but nobody was too interested in picking up the slack. I try not to be too hard on fast food workers, but there was genuine disinterest in the kitchen area that resulted in long lineups. I ordered a bacon BELT that was par for the course, a dulce apple fritter that was dry and had all the filling stuffed into one corner, and a pumpkin spice cold brew that was thick with cream. Why does Tim's and McDonald's both do this? A little cream for flavor is fine, but if I just wanted flavor syrup, I'd order an Iced Capp. Hopefully I don't make that mistake again. Bottom line, it's a Tim's, and you'll get what you're expecting from it - it's just a shame that the bar is so...
Read moreHad tins of coffee on the shelf with a price tag if $18.99. When I brought it to the till, it rang up at $23.99. I said the sign said differently, and the staff said “sorry, the sign wasn’t changed”. I told them they should be honouring the price of the sign, but they declined, so I returned it. First of all: terrible service, and setting the wrong standard in my opinion - especially with a long lineup of customers, some who were shaking their heads. Secondly: $23.99 for a tin of coffee is nuts. I walked across to Coop and scooped it up for $18.99, which by the way - is also nuts. Will be buying different coffee from now...
