Placed an order through drive through and when I went to pay with the app it forced me to sign in again and wait for a validation code. I apologized to the man on the window and he was very understanding and even joked about the app. Another woman came and was very rude. Started talking to me on a very firm voice 'you have to get out of your car and come inside you are holding back the line" i explained what was happening and she kept on getting more and more frustrated with me and rude! I told her i was not going in it was a problem with TIM HORTONS app and it was as inconvenient for me as it was for her. I am also in a rush to go to work. The entire process took exactly 2 minutes (7.18 am to 7.20 am I was driving away). I asked for her name (She was not wearing a name tag) and she said "you do not need to ask that" and did not provide it. I took a photo of her which I chose to not post her for her privacy but I can provide to a manger privately if I get contacted to do so. She said to me to just complain about the store location and explain that I would not because everybody else was polite and nice, the problem was her alone. Bottom line, the app was delaying the payment process and that is what i was paying with. I was already upset about it and did not need her to be rude to top it up when i had already apologized to her colleague and felt bad about it. i was not purposely holding traffic or being difficult by choice. she mumbled 'b#$%@' at me as I was driving away and I chose not to stay there an argue/confront her about it. very bad way to start my day!
Ordered a large black coffee with 2 milk and 1 Splenda, 1 large French Vanilla and 1 old fashion chocolate glaze donut at the drive-thru order station. Got to the window and only got the donut. Asked about the coffee and French vanilla. They got it for me but did not provide any napkins, or the hot drink sleeves and had coffee all over the lid of the coffee cup and promptly closed their window. I waved at them and asked for napkins and before I could finish my sentence, they gave me some napkins and closed the window again. I had to soak up the coffee with the few napkins given. I then had to honk the horn for them to open the window again at which time I had to ask for more napkins and the hot beverage sleeves. They then told me I am holding up the line by the server with their manager present at the window. My reply to them was: 1) You got the order wrong, 2) You got coffee all over the lid, 3) You didn’t put hot beverage sleeves on the hot drinks, 4) you didn’t give us napkins and 5) You kept closing the window on me before I could even say anything. Well, their response was “But we gave you everything you asked for”. I said “this is seriously your response, what’s wrong with you guys???” At this time, the female manager (I think) said “sorry”. They are in DESPERATE NEED OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND...

The drive-thru at this location is the worst I have ever seen. You drive up to the order screen, and as you order each individual item they say "oh one sec, let me go look" and then two minutes goes by with nothing. I am 99% sure they are trying to keep their drive-thru times down so it looks good on them, but it is horrendous customer service. It's been to the point where I wonder "did the speaker stop working?" That is how long they take to reply. They must go make the food and prepare everything as you order to keep the drive-thru times down. And then when you get to the window, they immediately expect payment. Sometimes it takes a minute to get my card out, I am driving.
Also, my manager went through the drive-thru today to order a chili and a $50 tims card, and he was told he needed to drive BACK THROUGH the drive-thru for the gift card. That is ridiculous. Never had this experience at a tims until this one.
DRIVE THRU TIMES ARE NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE. This needs...
