I have never left so incredibly belittled in my entire life. Sat in the bar side, just now, was served by a lady with dark brown/red hair with bangs. She talked to me like a normal guest until she looked at for an extended period of time, and demanded out of no where that my fiancé and I show our IDs, leaving me and my fiance and the table to sit with our IDs in had while she get a rag. Upon showing her waitress our IDs, she promptly returned my fiancés ID and kept my for an extended period of time. Then returned my ID, only to snatch it out if my hand. She took a long, long look at my ID and returned it to me again, looking me up and down like I had done something wrong. I felt like garbage by the time she asked me for my drink order so I picked a drink... Then she brought only my fiancé a drink, and told me she had to look in the back for my bottled beverage. She made me wait an extended period of time, then eventually brought the drink from the initial fridge she was looking in. It felt as though she was somehow with holding drink. She eventually returned and looked at me strangely again. It was very degrading, my fiancé agreed... So we paid our bill, and left. This is not my first time at the BPs, but it is the first time that I ever felt uncomfortable. I have served for almost ten years, and I am prospered certified - but this as not an appropriate way to interact with guest. I doubt...
Read moreThe only reason for 1 star is the food is mediocre. Otherwise it’d be no stars. My family and I came here tonight to enjoy a get together with the kids an adults. We chose Boston pizza due to it being a family restaurant; so kids wouldn’t interrupt. Within 5 minutes of being there we were rushed to order our food and we’re given entrées for the kids before our family appetizer arrived. While waiting for our appetizer and family entrées one of the waitresses was staring down our table (a very tiny booth in the corner, for a family of 3 adults and 2 children). I felt very unwelcome due to not one but TWO waitresses giving my family the death glare. Once adult entrées arrived there was NO room on the table. We weren’t even given 5 minutes to enjoy our appetizer, before entrées arrived. I was paying attention to other tables and they all were given much longer to enjoy their appetizers. The entire time we were at this establishment we had 3-5 different staff members at our table rushing us; taking plates, glasses and asking if we needed things we were eating removed. I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received. Why label yourself as a family establishment if kids are going to make you rush people out? Do better. (Not to mention both steaks ordered were NOT to standard. One was barely cooked for a medium rare, while the other wasn’t...
Read moreWe stopped in to this location tonight for dinner. The place was clean, the waitress was friendly and so was the rest of the staff. The issue came when it was time to bring food. We ordered an appy, which showed up after our food showed up. Which kinda defeats the purpose of an appy. Was also given all this food but zero napkins, or forks/knives to be able to eat it. Only half of one meal showed and when brought up it took almost 15min to get the other half. Kinda messed up, I don't know if the confusion was with the waitresses or the kitchen staff but not good. Sadly I wonder if this has todo with why this place was so dead for a Friday night. My food was ice cold, including the rice underneath which cold be how it's served so didn't say anything. Sadly we won't try this location again when we are back in Calgary next time. I really wish I could give more stars for service but the delays, the mix ups with timings, and lack of organization is why it's rated...
