Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Cambridge

Had an awful experience with this restaurant tonight in addition to skip the dishes (who got their own review). We ordered quesadillas and burritos for delivery tonight. None of our items had cheese in them; and when we called the restaurant to clarify he told us that no, there was no cheese because we selected no cheese. He argued with me that I selected no cheese therefore I received no cheese. This was incorrect. I wouldn’t have chosen no cheese and when I went back and reflected on our order, it again showed that there was no option for cheese other than NO cheese or Monterey Jack cheese. I assumed that by not selecting no cheese or Monterey Jack cheese that I would just receive the standard cheese. Nope. No cheese. Skip wouldn’t do anything for us because toppings are the responsibility of the restaurant and customer and they don’t handle that issue. In addition to the no cheese problem; my husbands burrito had no chicken in it at all. Long story short, I don’t recommend this restaurant as they obviously don’t care about the quality of their food and their customer service is beyond disgraceful. My family and I have been ordering food from this location since it opened. Whenever I enter the store, I’m greeted by name by the owner and the staff. Since we order the same thing each time, they begin to make our individual orders and know who gets what without me having to say a thing. I’ve seen this with many other customers as well. They also work fast, which is great especially when I’m in a hurry. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond is amazing. For instance, my daughter wanted to try the churros, but has anaphylaxis to tree nuts. The owner took the time to get the ingredient list and let me look at it to ensure they were safe for her to eat. Often I’m just told that it probably isn’t safe (because it’s easier) and she misses out on most desserts. Needless to say, she was very happy when I brought them home and told her that I personally checked to make sure they were safe! I wish I can give zero star. I ordered through uber eats and they had an offer on burrito bowls which had refried veggies, refried beans on top of the regular cold veggies and rice but I only got cold veggies full of lettuce and only rice. There was no beans at all and no refried veggies moreover no sauces in it but on their website they have plenty of options. It’s really awful that you are just fooling the customers just because it is an Uber eats order. I am a regular customer of fresh burrito and just tried quesada location today for a change but the owner said better option is to call Uber eats and take your money back. Like seriously?? You have wasted my time and moreover we were waiting for food in our lunch break, totally wastage of time and money. This is pathetic and would never recommend anyone to visit...
