This is a review for the St. Louis Bar & Grill location on 95 Saginaw Parkway Unit 7 in Cambridge Ontario
Hello to everyone out there that appreciates reading reviews and who likes to know about someone's experience and perspective on restaurants and food.
I can't begin without acknowledging my good friend and coworker Anthony(aka Tony) who recommended me to eat at St. Louis Bar & Grill for quite some time prior to me going but never dared. So he's a part of the reason why I'm writing this review to begin with.
Now the reason I say I never dared to eat here is because my expectations are set to high standards. Let's be honest, eating out can be skeptical at times, especially when you want your well earned money to go towards something that is of great value. Quality, service, quantity, and atmosphere are just some of the things you would expect, right? Rest assured, I'm confident to say that St. Louis Bar & Grill on Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge Ontario meets all of my expectations and standards.
1st acknowledgement is my usual server, Christina(aka Krissy). Christina is not only a phenomenal server, she's an all-around complete package of a damn hard worker that ANY employer would be blessed to have. She's always on the go and does not stop. She treats customers with dignity and respect and she goes the extra mile to meet customers standards and expectations and I feel she does all these things in SPADES. Christina also has a sense of humor and charm. Always putting smiles on customers faces and making them laugh in between while she continues to work. My 2nd acknowledgement is the cook/chef in the kitchen by the name of Alex. Alex does an amazing job cooking food to my expectations which is nothing short of great quality and taste. Alex has came out to check on me once already to make sure that the food was of my enjoyment and I appreciate that of him. That shows me that Alex takes his job seriously and that he wants to deliver consistent positive results. Alex has my absolute highest approval rating. St Louis Bar and Grill are lucky to have him
The quality and tastes of the food at St.Louis Bar & Grill is amazing. I dare everyone to try everything on the menu. I haven't had a single thing on the menu that I haven't liked yet. One of my favorite days is wing night on Tuesday after 5pm where wings are half price. They have a special 2lbs of wings and fries for $16.50. The wings here are absolutely amazing, and along with their signature breading they're to die for! St Louis Bar & Grill has officially become one of my favorite places for wings. They have different wing sauces to choose from along with dry rub seasoned wing flavors too. St Louis Bar & Grill signature fries that come with the wings are also delicious. I'm a sucker for fries and they are just so good here, nicely seasoned and crispy with each bite. My mouth is watering just talking about it. St. Louis Bar & Grill ribs are phenomenal too, tender and fall off the bone with each bite along with their amazing in house signature sauces. The ribs are so good that even St Louis Bar & Grill are more than worthy and deserving to be invited to your local Ribfest across Ontario.
The atmosphere of course is also out this world. Lots of big screen TVs to enjoy sports or the news etc while you eat. Great music over the speakers too if you enjoy music. Christina will also ask people for song requests too which is so sweet of her. They also have a beautiful patio outside with plenty of seating should you decide to eat your food while getting some fresh air on a nice warm day.
10/10, 5 star review to server Christina, Alex the cook/chef, and the entire team at St. Louis Bar and Grill. Congrats, keep producing continuous results.
I highly recommend St Louis Bar & Grill on Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge Ontario to all current customers and to all future customers for the love of food, service, quality, and atmosphere. Proceed with absolute confidence.
Highly recommended dishes: Wings, Ribs, Burgers, Fries, appetizers, desserts, anything...

You will never convince me I am wrong of the following statement. The boneless chicken bites are simply Janes frozen ones that are simply deep fried. There was something seriously wrong with these things. My wife took one bite and threw them all away. It made her sick to her stomache instantly. I tried one and agreed.
I ordered the chicken wing and rib combo. I had tried the wings years before and loved them out of the Burlington location. I wanted those again. While they were leaps better than the boneless bites, they were nothing special. Pretty dry and almost as if they were fried earlier and then fried again before being sauced. Not completely old like the ribs below. Just nothing special.
Enter the ribs. I wanted to enjoy these so bad. While I am not certain about the wings I am 100 percent certain that the ribs had been previously cooked and then reheated. To say they tasted old is an understatement. I have never had worse ribs. They tasted like they were cooked days ago, refrigerated and reheated for me yesterday evening. They were not only dry, they were literally hard. The taste can only be described as days old. I've had day later ribs after reheating left overs from the night before and they have felt like the same day freshness I barely notice. That makes me really wonder how old were these things?
We opted for caesar salads and it actually wasn't terrible even though it had simulated bacon bits. Now to be fair, I didn't expect more from the salad. It was decent and expected from a sports bar. But the boneless and regular wings as well as ribs are advertised so heavily as being very well regarded.
We received literally one garlic/dill sauce to share with all this food.
I am so torn. Had I only ordered the wings and salad, I may have never felt compelled to write this review. The ribs and boneless bites actually make me a bit angry. They weren't just below satisfactory, they were offensive. I have been on the washroom literally all day today with completely disturbing results. I will say no more.
To top it all off, I purchased a bottle of the Dill sauce and it expired 3 days...
Read moreI am parent that was spectating my son's U12 A Early Bird Hockey Tournament in Cambridge. There was about 3 hours between our last two games on the Saturday afternoon/evening. We called over to a nearby restaurant and asked if they could accommodate our group. We walked over to G.T. and found out that due to the size of our group (about 12 adults, 14 kids) that they did not have staffing to provide for us.
We called to the next closest place. The host said they were almost empty and could probably handle the influx. We walked over to St. Louis Bar & Grill. The host, Erica, was a little shocked to witness the actual size of our group as, virtually, a walk-in. We were promptly seated and began trying to coral a bunch of excited boys to figure out what to order. Erica requested we come up one at a time to place our order with her at the machine. This worked wonderfully.
Then she went to work...
We began receiving as many of the items as humanly possible. A big tray of soft drinks, a bunch of pitchers of water, some of the bar drinks...all steadily rolling out of the kitchen and bar. Erica continued to serve everything as it became available. Eventually, everyone had everything they ordered. I had the chicken and waffles with sweet potatoe fries. Fries were nothing special, the sauce with them tasted good. The sandwich was killer. Kudos to the chef, it was really enjoyable. I managed to ply away Erica's time just enough to get a refill of my soda.
We then proceeded, one by one, back to the machine to pay our tabs. Easy process. On my way out, I made sure to ask for some way to leave a review. The fact that the restaurant was able to accommodate our group, with no notice, was already spectacular enough. Add on the service we...
