Royal Paan — Restaurant in Cambridge

Went there just to grab a royal faluda. I asked the server how long it’s gonna take for my order, he replied back it will take 25 minutes. I asked again how long it’s gonna take for just one royal Faluda. He answered the same. I said never mind I’m gonna go I don’t have 25 minutes for just one drink. He then said just give me 15 minutes I’ll make your drink. I said no because it’s just one drink it’s total waste of time to wait 15 minutes for just one drink . And politely, I said no that’s fine. If you’re busy, I can go. He said no, it will be ready in eight minutes. I said fine. Your time starts now. And guess what my Faluda was ready in four minutes. My biggest question is, was it a big of a deal to make one drink and don’t you know how to attend your customer. Or you could have told me that it’s busy and it’s gonna take a while. Drab looking place with slow service. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant with impeccable service - then this isn't the place. But, if it's good Indian food that you want, then it's the right place. Especially, vegetarian food. Have tried many items on the menu. My favourites are -

Sev Puri (or any other chat items), Paneer Grilled Sandwich & Dabeli.

I found the Paneer S/w here to be better than Milan.

Fav drink - Rabdi milkshake (you won't find at any other chain, so it's kinda their monopoly, but still it's great, my brother loves it)

Technically, all their locations should be serving the same, but my brother had a bad experience at one of the locations today (will ask and update which branch). Locations which we can positively attest to - Cambridge and Milton.

P.S. sure the food's what matters but it won't hurt to have better interiors, might not affect the desi population but could help in...

I visit mostly at this place and always I appreciated their services and food. But this time I had a bad experience, the reason , I am writing this review due to disappointing behaviour. I placed a order over call for Amristsari dosa in the afternoon and reach there after the wait time they told me. Got the food and then found a hair in it. showed to staff at the counter , they took the plate back. Asked me I have to wait another 20 mints now for new one. After asking only they provided the compensation that too of their choice and which was totally tasteless. Then, I get the new dosa and I asked can I get a sambar with it , the person at counter replied in very cold way that we have already given with previous one. The sambar was too cold for me as I already waited for new order. This was most bad and...
