•𝓣𝓱𝓮. 𝓕𝓸𝓸𝓭• The food is always fresh, fast, beautifully presented/packaged and of-coarse it’s delicious! They have a large menu, thats easy to navigate/use to order from! They have something for everyone, even veggie options! They offer different appetizers, soups & salads & ofcoarse- tones of sushi! They have all of the traditional rolls & sashimi that you’d see at most sushi restaurants but also tones of specialty rolls/house special options! They also offer tones of other options for mains like Wok, Noodles & other Entrees (if sushi isn’t your thing!) However if you like both, & can’t choose they actually offer bento boxes (a customizable box for 1 with a mix of both sushi and hot foods) which is a great option if you just can’t decide! Along with that, They have several other great discounted deals & options for any size group. As for the taste- I’ve personally tried almost everything on the menu & there isn’t one thing I haven’t loved! Its always fresh & It’s quality blows YE’s sushi right outta the water!!

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓣𝓮𝓪 ~ OKAY GUYS….THEY NOW HAVE BUBBLE TEA!!!! (Which I feel I’m a bit of a bubble tea connoisseur at this point lol as I grew up drinking it with my neighbours who introduced it to me) and all I can say is WOOOW it’s the best bubble tea I’ve ever had!!! You absolutely gotta try it!! After I came and picked up my order, I opened it on the way home and took a sip and I ligit turned back around and ordered another because it was so good LoL They have several flavours, sizes and toppings, and is an absolute must have if your ordering from here! (I had the Taro which if your new to bubble tea I’d STRONGLY recommend!)

•𝓣𝓱𝓮. 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓲𝓬𝓮• The employees here are amazing and go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy! They are extremely fast and efficient all while being very welcoming! You can tell how much they value you & your happiness as they always add in some kind of free treat as a thank you.

•𝓣𝓱𝓮. 𝓞𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵𝓵. 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮• I only write reviews when a business really stands out to me (either they’re awful or amazing) and As you can tell (judging by the novel I wrote about a take out restaurant lol) I absolutely love TOMITA, and am beyond impressed. I always leave feeling happy, which is how you should feel when your spending money and treating yourself or others to takeout. Over the years, Customer service has gone really down hill and it’s often exhausting dealing with figuring out dinner/ spending money ext…. So when a business does it right, I really have to applaud them! They are seriously setting a gold standard for how to take care of a customer and honestly, certain other businesses should absolutely take note! Overall TOMITA absolutely stands out as one of the best places to eat in Cambridge. They take care in everything they do, & in each step along the way- from how fresh & beautifully presented the food is, to how affordable it is, the location is convenient (with parking) and it’s always so clean and cute inside, they work hard to keep it as fast and efficient as possible, & even the care they put in to keep customer happy by including freebies as a thank you to customers. I would recommend this place to anyone!! Whether your on a budget, a picky eater or in a rush they have something for everyone and will accommodate you. It’s no wonder they are doing so well, even though they haven’t been around for very long- but If they keep doing what there doing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they become an integral part of Cambridge for years to come! Way to TOMITA! Keep up the great work!

~ 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦...

I order the Bento with BBQ short ribs and T01 (Tomita Sushi Roll). Over phone I specifically order diet coke, I got a coke (not a big deal). I got miso soup (nothing special as it's miso soup). After opening my Bento box and my sushi roll, I found that rice is not even warm (kinda cold), I moved onto the BBQ short ribs which to find out they are cold also really chewy. I then move onto tempura, was probably the worst, cuz it was cold definitely not crispy, shrimp or the veggies. T01 is nothing out of the ordinary, not the best and not the worst. It's not anything I would brag about.

I eat that within 10 mins after picking up the food. Over the phone I was told to give 25 mins, I arrived after 15 mins.

Word of advice to the restaurant owners, invest an heat lamp with your restaurant so it keeps deep fried food and other cooked food at least warm. The whole meal (cooked food) was cold, only thing it was warm was the miso soup.

Not going back to the restaurant as it's simply overpriced food and it's not worth it.

No names but I would rather go to the nearby Japanese Restaurant...

All around fantastic takeout experience here. We live down the street and had been meaning to try this place out for a while, but never got around to it and always opted for all-you-can-eat at Sushi Stars in Kitchener or Ye's in Cambridge.

But finally tried out Tomita tonight, and WOW was I ever impressed. Food was fantastic and fresh, and our larger order was ready-to-go fast in 30 minutes on a friday night! On top of that, I have found their prices were extremely fair and reasonable for a quality takeout sushi place in the region, and they dont sacrifice quality for said prices. Lastly, we got some free app's and other snacks with our order, which just made things feel like even better value to us. Food was hot, fresh, filling and tasty as can be.

All in all, im super happy with Tomita. I picked a menu up on my way out, its going on the fridge and this will be our new spot for sushi-at-home for the foreseeable future....
