They give very generous portions! After eating the complimentary salad, I only got through half my lamb souvlaki meal before I saved the rest for later. I'll get at least another meal out of it, if not more.

The food was delicious too. The lamb was tender and well-flavoured. The lemon potatoes had the barest hint of Indian spice that complemented the Greek flavour, making it unique in a way I really enjoyed. I think the rice is cooked with bay leaves, which gave it a savoury depth I also appreciated.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming! They chatted with us while we waited for our food, and you can tell they're so passionate about what they do.

They let us try some of these amazing mixed cheese puffs we immediately fell in love with and added to our order. It came with two sauces - the green mango sauce was refreshingly sour, and the sweet tamarind date sauce blew my mind with how perfectly it went with the cheese and bread.

This is a wonderful little mom and pop shop in downtown Galt that I'll definitely be returning to. I had the Greek food this time, but next time, I'll give the Indian menu a try! You can also catch them on Saturdays at the Cambridge...

Just discovered this place tonight, it was incredible! Everyone was so lovely and easy to chat with. It's obvious they love to cook and share their cooking with people and I think that's so beautiful. While we were waiting for our food, we were offered a sample of these amazing cheese paneer puffs that were so good, I'm obsessed with them.

I ordered the chicken souvlaki meal with roasted potatoes and rice. It also came with amazing flat bread and a salad. The chicken was tender and pretty juicy, incredibly well flavoured and the potatoes were perfectly cooked! Most Greek food I get, the potatoes are not cooked all the way through and still a little hard, but these ones were so soft and the flavour was delicious. I'm not sure what they added to it, but it was 10/10. The rice also had amazing flavour and I loved that there were real lemon slices in it.

I found the portion sizes to be very generous, especially for 20 dollars. I'm not a small lady and I love my food, but I have at least a meal and a half left from my leftovers. For 20 dollars that's INCREDIBLE.

Anyway, this place is absolutely one of my new favourite spots to go to. Good food and really lovely...

This is not the same Greek Street as before. It is now operated by new ownership. I physically had to drive there to order as their phone wasn’t even working. I recognized it was now operated by South Asian ownership, but felt I’d try it anyways hoping nothing much changed.

The Chicago style gyro dinner was very disappointing. For starters Gyro meat traditionally is on a vertical rotisserie spit and carved off. Instead my gyro meat was in perfect sized slices, which obviously came from a package. Just wasn’t very tasty nor authentic. They also in my opinion over seasoned the food with dry oregano. Too much and overpowering. Unfortunately I had ordered 4 of these dinners.

I felt the potatoes were more South Asian style not Greek.

I noticed when there that there were Indian choices on the menu. Maybe it’s time to change the name and develop a different menu. I don’t feel this is justice to what the food was previously like...

Not worth the money for "authentic Greek food", which it isn't. We purchased lamb souvlaki dinner, two skewers of pork souvlaki, and an extra side order of lemon potatoes. Total cost $42 when small tip added. What you are seeing in a small container with the lettuce, Are the two… I repeat two, pork souvlaki skewers . These pieces were less than a size of a quarter and slightly overcooked. Cannot believe that alone cost $11 or more. Would never recommend anyone purchasing this. Lamb was flavoured well but again overcooked. Also very small portions considering it was $22. The small Greek salad that came on the side was nothing special. Minimal amounts of feta and the dressing they served it with was just olive oil. No vinegar. Assume they didn't stir the dressing before portion it out into the small cup. Lemon potatoes were great however they definitely didn't taste like authentic Greek potatoes. But very flavorful.
