Olde Towne Bakery — Restaurant in Carleton Place

While visiting CP today deciding to try this bakery. Absolutely horrible. Worst bakery I have ever been to. Pie only half cooked. I finished cooking it. Cut out 2 pieces. It was a cherry pie. Both pieces had absolutely NO cherries in it. Nothing but sloppy mush. Girl behind counter was not wearing a mask, no gloves and did not wash or sanitize her hands after handling money. When I asked her about covid measures she said there is a piece of plastic glass her that is good enough. I was shocked. Will never, ever be back. Please people read the reviews. I went for my very first time last week, April 2022 and I have never met such amazing people who work there and come in. What I thought was just a bakery, I was very pleasantly suprised they have soup and sandwiches. I myself bought their AMAZING beef and barley soup (im sorry nana it was better than hers, just a bit) 🤭 My Boyfriend bought a beautiful Fresh Veggie Wrap.
