I went for the first time with my parents. Service was friendly and quick. My parents loved that the tea came in a big mug with really hot water. Most places use those small teapots that don't close on top and the water is just warm. 2 of us had the steak sandwich and one the hoagie. The steak was really tender but could have used some steak spice. My mother loved the soup she had as a side. Good fries. We had a chocolate cheesecake desert. It was really good. Some added whip cream would have been perfect, or so my mum said. The other dishes being served to other customers looked appetizing. Prices were alright. NIce big tv screens for watching football. We really like the place and will...

So every time we go to carlton place, we always have to make sure that we stopping at the thirsty moose. It's like tradition because of the moose crossing nachos, which are not really nachos, they're waffle fries with nacho cheese and they're absolutely divine. Also, we really enjoy the fact that we can get really crispy wing, super nicely seasoned (salt and pepper pur favourite), and for a pound you get a lot of wings. We also get a salad greek to share you know to be healthy that too doesn't disappoint. Staff are fast and efficient. Food is well priced and portion sizes are large. See you soon...

Tonight I visited the thirsty moose in Carleton Place! A group of seven were yelling and causing a ruckus because they were given a table of six with one chair on the end to make it seven! The staff explained its wing night and that it’s a very busy night for the restaurant. They wanted another table added which was not available. The people were extremely rude. Shoving chairs, swearing threatening with reviews. They left the restaurant swearing! This is outrageous behaviour. This is a great place great staff and don’t deserve your abuse!! Be respectful people. Kindness goes...

Definitely a great place to eat. The food is delicious - better than your typical pub food. The bread (for sandwiches and whatnot) is from the bakery next door so it is so fresh and delicious if you love carbs like I do. Food was ready quickly and came out hot. Even just the side garden salad was good - nice fresh, crisp veggies and tons of options for dressings. Free soft drink refills. The person who served our table was very friendly and helpful. Nothing bad to say about this place. Would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Had a great evening at the Thirsty Moose! We started off with a group of 12, but since this was the night before a family reunion in town we ended up having 25 people show up. The staff were super accommodating and managed to pull us together a giant family style row of tables. Service was great, drinks were flowing and somehow the kitchen managed to not only get all of the food out at the same time, but did an amazing job on each meal. A big thank you to all of the staff for hosting our family!
