McDonald's — Restaurant in Castlegar

REALLY !!!!! IT’S JUST MCDONALDS……. I Keep telling myself every time I have a negative experience there. This however is the last time I will ever go back, Here”s why ……. I go every Sunday morning for the same thing, egg McMuffin meal , coffee and a fruit and fibre muffin,The combined screw ups over the past several months include… no muffins, wrong ingredients in the sandwich, no hash brown, being made to wait because they don’t have hash browns ready………and combinations thereof. This morning I ordered the usual, got to the window paid for my order and waited, after a bit the girl came back said there were no fruit and fibre muffins didn’t offer me an alternative so I asked what choices I have , I settled for a different kind just to move along, she then said we don’t have hash brown yet can I pull ahead and wait, ok here we go again, I pulled around to the waiting area and waited, a guy came out and told me I had to move there was a truck coming , I asked were? He grunted and walked away, so I backed up out of the way and waited,,, and waited, apparently my $8.80 order was forgotten, so after a while I walked into the store and asked for my order I was given a discount coupon for a burger meal I guess to Make up for the errors,,, well at this point I would not go back for a FREE meal…….after all “ I’TS...

I went to mcdonald's a few weeks ago thinking, I'd grab a quick coffee and a chicken burger. The idea was, they make everything the same way everywhere, right? It might be a little overpriced, but I'll get what I pay for, right? The place was incredibly filthy, packed tight with customers, and they refused to take my order at the counter...had to go order at some big greasy touchscreen...which then ate my receipt, so they had to go ask the manager for the keys to unlock the receipt drawer...and the receipt i got was torn and printed sideways...then they expected me to respond to an order number that they screamed out, which apparently should have been on the torn, sideways receipt...and then...the coffee was hot, but tasted watered down, weak...and the burger had literally nothing in it except a thin piece of white lettuce and a tasteless chunk of breaded chicken. I would not have guessed what it was if I hadn't ordered it myself. At that point...I dropped it on the table and walked out. Will never enter another one of those hellholes as long as I live. I had no idea an establishment could be that unpleasant and still somehow be so...

Really annoyed at the fact that no matter how many times I go through the drive through my coffee is either never stirred and or they don’t put the sugar in, normally I wouldn’t complain about this because( first world problems) but this has been happening non stop for the last couple of months. It’s getting very annoying and happening more and more and more and it’s pathetic that not a single person knows how to either add sugar or stir a coffee. It’s not rocket science, it’s either the coffee always being wrong or sour tasting or they constantly screw up your food. For the price that they’re gouging you for their food I expect better than this. If you’re going to be having the same prices as a dine in fancy restaurant then at least put care into your store and food. Rant over.

Update. Just went there again and same thing again. I even asked the drive through guy to make sure they stir it correctly. I love there coffee but it’s not brain surgery to add sugar and stir it correctly… I know it’s just coffee and it may sound like I’m overreacting but seriously, I think they need a training course on how to...
