After finding out that Seitan’s is 100% vegan, I decided to give all their dishes a try, so I know what’s best.
Today I tried 7 different ones and all were great. (I’ll post some pics) I’ll try a few more soon and will update
1 - Vegan Donair Pizza 🍕 - For someone that until 6 years ago ate donairs every week, this was impressive. It even looked like a regular donair pizza
2 - Spinach Dip Pizza Frita -This thing tasted so so that it was scary. T was like a spinach pizza rolled up like a banana and you can dip it in garlic or sweet sauce
3 - Chickun Box - It’s like a vegan version of KFC but without fat and without the stick on reused oil. I even took some home for the kids and it was a success
4- 6 Piece Vegan Wing Box - I’m a fan of lemon pepper so that’s the flavour I ordered and it did not disappoint. It actually feels like dry ribs (for those who only recently went plant based)
5 - Kale Caeser - Exactly what you would expect but they used super fresh kale that felt like it was grown right there.
6 - Philly Cheese Steak Pro - I didn’t want to put it down, but I had 6 other dishes to try and it’s probably around 10” (see pics)
7 - Chickun Parm - The wife’s favourite. Stuffed with spinach and “cheese” on top of 2 Chickun patties
Service was fast, knowledgeable and friendly.
Parking available right next to the building, but honestly was very confusing because it has 2 signs telling you to install apps to pay, and both apps were different and had different prices. Then the app offered apple pay, but still wanted a picture of the Visa. Anyway, I skipped it and didn’t pay (don’t recommend you...
Read moreThis location is brand new and open early to mid August 2025. This is a new location for the owner. It was previously next door as Die Pie and a delivery only kitchen. They have their liquor licence and serve beer on tap, and will soon have a cocktail menu. You can also buy vegan sauce and cheese to take home.
Their menu features pizzas, sandwiches, fry dishes, salads, and appetizers. All of which is vegan. Most meat substitutes are seitan, a protein made from wheat, or mushrooms. All the cheese is vegan and made in house. They have gluten free options available for everything.
The menu includes some eye catching items like oyster mushroom Po boy, Korean-Hawaiian pizza, pickle pizza, and seitan wings. On Thursdays they offer thick crusts for the pizza.
This was my first visit and I ordered the pickle pizza. It's a dill white sauce on sourdough crust, vegan mozzarella and feta, pickled jalapenos, onions, and cucumbers. Its a refreshing flavor. I'm not vegan, so I found the consistency of the cheese a bit weird, soft, almost like a flour and water mixture, not a lot of flavour. The pickles were tasty with good crunch. The crust is BANGIN! Seriously, the sourdough crust is so good. As a whole, the bite is quite good, and above average for vegan, I'm sure.
The server was very friendly and explained what their ingredients were and how the cheese was made. He even showed me a few of the other pizzas as they came out of the oven. I'd recommend coming here with friends to try...
Read moreGreat Vegan food, We've ordered twice now with a wide selection.
All of the different bites are great. (Pickle and Cheddar) The chickun Parm - also great Fries - hit or miss, they're extremely tough/chewy to eat at times, i'm unsure why Donuts - THE BEST! That paired with the Caramel sauce is to die for
Had the mac and cheese today, it notes on the menu that it comes with pickled jalapenos and red onions - it didn't come with that, instead we received a pretty bland 22$ mac and cheese disappointment - i'm sure if all the ingredients were included it may have been better.
Prices.... Prices need to come WAYYYY down for what it's worth. Ended up spending 120$ both times through Uber eats to test the selection (which you don't really know what to expect so it's fine). Although vegan (which isn't a novelty item really any more for restaurants) it's just not worth the price in my opinion. Although the following are different cuisine, Namaste, Buok Korean, Meltwhich, Tandorii Express, Wok Box and many more - they all have great vegan options for at least 1/2 the price. It's definitely anti-competitive when it comes to that and the quality just isn't worth it (especially 22$ for a small mac and cheese).
All in all 5/5 stars(if you can afford it on Uber), food is great, price vs quality/quantity not so much compared to other...
