I have been to The Tea Room various times since I was 16. My friend and I would go there for tea leaf reading from a cute little old lady who I am sure was in her 80's. I was so happy that many many years later the Tea Room kept their tradition of having psychic readers available everyday. I have had a couple readings with Masha Shustich, and I believe she is the most gifted psychic I have ever had the opportunity to have a reading with. I’ve been to this cafe a couple times and the first time I went there was for a psychic reading/tarot reading. I was very skeptic and almost turned away but I couldn’t have been any happier.

I had heard and read such good reviews about Masha and needless to say, she is an amazing person and her readings are true to the point. She doesn’t sugar coat stuff and gives you the hard truth, which I definitely think is the best approach when getting these readings.

Masha has helped me get so many details about my dad’s health. He unfortunately passed away this year after battling cancer for over five years. I’m so glad I came to Masha for this reading bcoz the stuff she told me about my dad’s future prepared me in advance of what was to come. Too bad there is no negative rating because I would certainly give this place a -0 on every level. Horrid food, service and highly over priced.

Last time I was here was about 20 years ago. I remember having borscht that tasted like the real thing. What I ordered and got today wasn't recognizable. Always had borscht that was made from beets and red in color. This was the color of dish water with what looked like turnips - no flavor whatsoever. When server came by I asked whether this was borscht. She nodded yes, gave me a strange look and went away to serve another table that had arrived.

We should have clued in when noticing upon entering this place that there only a couple of tables occupied on a busy lunch time during the week. We also ordered a beef dip to split - another huge disappointment. Meat looked like shoe leather and was hard to chew. Dip was some sort of tasteless broth.

It was so disgusting that we left everything, paid our bill which did not reflect removal of the borscht and vowed to warn other unsuspecting diners not to waste their time or money at this dive. Can't even believe they are in...
