Edit: It seems that the owners have listened to customers' suggestions and implemented many of them! Huge kudos. The bowls are fantastic and they really are made fresh with fresh ingredients. Like I said originally, food taste and quality was never an issue and if anything it's gotten better. I will leave the original review for comparison.

Food is great, it looks fresh and tastes good. No issue there.

My problem: $10 for a bean burger, delicious and all, but it is still a bit of a rip-off considering you only get the burger. I would pay $7.99 as it is (and that's a stretch) or $9.99 but with some sort of garnish like marinated crudités or something like that. Especially when the place is purporting to be a bit more forward than a standard chain. The avocado toast by the way is pretty skimpy.

Then there is the tip issue. Under no circumstance do I tolerate the asking for tip at the till when I bus my own food and when I am instructed to clean my own everything in the manner that they want. I'm not opposed to the cleaning, but I do resent being charged for it. I willingly give tips for service, not for handing me a product that I paid for.

And the bottled water $3.50: ludicrous. This is airport-level thievery.

The manager is an...

My boyfriend and I are both vegetarian and decided to try the Copper Branch while out for the day. I ordered the Copper Burger Deluxe, and my boyfriend ordered the Unity Falafel Wrap, both with fries.

The burger was mild and savory, I feel it could have used a better sauce distribution but other than that it was great. I'm very interested to try the black bean burger next time I'm in the area. Personally I was not a fan of the wrap as the falafel seems to have star anise, and I just do not like that spice. That's just my personal taste though, my boyfriend enjoyed it, and had no complaints. The fries were delicious and decently portioned. We ended up needing a box for the leftovers.

Mainly though I'd like to give a huge shout out to the employee (whose name I unfortunately did not get) who came all the way out of the restaurant and across the street to return to me my sketchbook that I had mistakenly left on the bench. That was way above and beyond and I am very grateful.

In short, great food, awesome staff, will certainly...

Wow! I was very excited to try out Copper Branch when i first heard the plant based chain was coming to Edmonton, not only was i impressed by the colourful presentation of food, i was blown out of the water by how delicious, satiating and fresh the food is.

My friend and I sampled 4 different food items and loved every bite of them, we had a feast but did not leave feeling bloated nor feeling unhappy. We ate nothing but good healthy ingredients and felt amazing and energized when we left.

The place itself is open, clean and spacious, and the staff were knowledgeable in answering our questions about certain ingredients. The prices are comparable to other restaurants serving plant based dishes but not a deal breaker by any means. I would rather spend my money here knowing that the food I eat will not be at the expense of my health, the animals and the health of the planet. They also donate a portion of sales to the Rain Forest Trust Fund. Copper Branch is a win-win all around and I cant wait to be back! Thank you for opening up...

I finally visited here on my last day in town after my classmates raved about it all week as we are attending courses across the street. I was hesitant because I don’t typically choose vegan restaurants, but wow was I shocked at how good this place was. Not even just good “for vegan food”, but just really good for ANY type of food. I got the mushroom burger which was a giant marinated and grilled portabello mushroom - I cannot explain how delicious this burger was, it was absolutely unreal. I also ordered the side of sweet potato cubes which came in a huge portion and were SO flavourful which surprised me. I was so full I had to take most of the potatoes home and ate them cold later on - still delicious! Will absolutely be back!!

Food is fairly good, We ordered the Asian bowl I feel could've used a different sauce so that it complements the flavor profile together with the Tofu, Sprouts, and vegetables with it. The Shiitake burger is pretty good and a good burger for its price! The shake itself could be better, but was hard to drink as some of the blueberries weren't grinded up properly and mixed. Prices are standard with inflation nowadays its hard to find a place that rivals cheap and good food, but I feel if their prices were a little lower it would be busier than when we went. Overall this place isn't too bad, just first impressions it's a good place to try out!
