Vito's Pizza Elora — Restaurant in Centre Wellington

Ordered today and was very disappointed. The reviews were great so I figured I’d give a local place a try and I really wish I didn’t. Maybe just an off day?

Ordering was easy and food was delivered within reason, no issues there.

The food however, ugh. One pizza was over cooked and dry. Almost no sauce (the heck?) so that definitely added to the dryness Second pizza was undercooked! The dough was still white and nowhere near golden brown to two very opposite pizzas lol but again had almost no sauce to the point you could only see it at the edges but nowhere under the cheese and couldn’t taste it either. Again it was dry and chewy (not in a good way)

There was a decent amount of toppings though so for those two good points I’ll give 2 stars but I’d definitely not order from...

Before I had said "Best pizza in Elora hands down." This was just over a year ago and was absolutely true at the time.

Since then, they have increased the price of their walk in 1 topping large from $9.99 to $10.99. This was fine, inflation hits everyone and a good pizza is worth the extra $1.

Just ordered the usual large pepperoni in October 2024. Dough was too salty and made it hard to chew. There wasn't enough sauce and they were very skimpy on the pepperoni... To add insult to this lackluster pizza, they increased the price to $13.99.

My 5 star gem of a restaurant is gone and I will not...

I ordered two pizzas for delivery and they said it was going to take an hour, in which I agreed. But after an hour and 20 minutes passed and didn’t hear anything, I called and they said that the pizza was sitting there because they were really busy and asked me if I wanted to pick it up because it if was delivered would another 20 minutes which if was ridiculous for me because they didn’t even offered a deal if I picked pizza up or anything, in which I canceled the ordered and the guy in the line didn’t even cared.
