DO NOT GO FOR ENFLAMME NOR THE SPICY MOZZA STICKS FROM HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON LIMITED PROMOTION THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL IT AS PER BK WEBSITE
I've been going there on a regular basis since 2023 when the Whopper a l'ail roti came out. Back then the staff was polite & nice and service was great in a timely manner. This has all gone downhill since about a year.
I went there Friday at 21h23 is what it says on my bill. I ordered for 3 of us. Amongst what I ordered there were 2 King Bacons and a Whopper Enflammé the How to Train your Dragon limited edition in select locations.
When ordering I said I want a King Bacon no mayo combo then, a King Bacon no mayo not a combo. At the end of the transaction the employee repeated my order. After everything she named I confirmed by saying the name of the item so I said King Bacon no mayo 4 times. I don't know what happened on the bill it says King Rondelle. The person I ordered this from was willing to just take of the onion rings however when they bit to it there's bar-b-q sauce and they can't stand bar-b-q sauce. When I opened my Enflammé it was dark in the car so I bit into it not realizing anything. As I said the other person freaked when they tasted bar-b-q sauce so they opened the lights in the car to make sure. That's when I noticed that my Enflammé was merely a Bacon and cheese Whopper.
Since we were still in the parking (this took about 5 mins). I went back to BK the doors were locked as it was closed so I went to knock at the drive thru. I told em what was going on. The girl who cooks said they don't have the Enflammé bread but it is the item. Usually when something isn't going to be as you ordered the staff asks you if you still want to order it. They didn't. Also last night I went on BK website and saw that this location does NOT sell the Enflammé only the drink and ice cream from the promotion. They shouldn't be selling things they aren't authorized to.
The cook then came to the window, I told her the issue about the King Bacons. No one ever offered to do anything to fix the problem, instead I was charged the 2 extra King Bacons that I had ordered so, now I'm stuck with 2 King Rondelles that no one will eat. I wound up paying over 80$ for food that wasn't necessary and going to waste. I wouldn't have taken the Enflammé if I were told they didn't have it (the bread) because I already had a shistaook plate from Amir waiting for me in the car. I was just caving to marketing pressure for the How to Train your Dragon. Otherwise I didn't want it nor need it.
I am contacting BK corporate offices over this because a store ISN'T allowed to sell a promotional item that their location isn't entitled to have on the menu. That's just plain out scamming unless you tell the customer: we don't have this here but I can make you the same thing but it'll be regular bread. Basically a Bacon & cheese Whopper.
As I said my bill says 21h23 and the store closed at 22h00 so by the time I got the King Bacons it had done 1h I waited to be served the accurate order. The staff was slow, had quite attitudes. Especially the girl who cooks the food. When they didn't offer me anything because of the King Bacon mix up I paid for it as the person was hungry, I live far and I wanted to make sure they didn't get some "special sauce" in it because of the extreme bad attitude from the cook. The other employees weren't better neither but the cook was the worse she was even rude to the other employees.
Worse nearly 100$ experience ever. Worse service for nearly 100$ order. I feel that BK needed to take responsibility and offer a certain compensation either on the Enflammé or the...
Read moreToday was my final straw. I love Burger King and I was so happy that they finally opened in Chateauguay. Service was never special here, but I didn't care, as long as the food was good. Now 3 bad food experiences in the last 2 weeks, and I can't be the only one, nobody was in the restaurant during lunch hour, and a few weeks ago this place was packed. I've never seen a restaurant try and sabotage itself, until now. Why would the owner invest so much money to build this location and then let it get like this? There is only a partial menu available, Whoppers were cold and dried out, and there is a serious lack of direction. No managers, no bosses. This place is like a ship without a captain, and it's taking on water... Please fix this place before it's too late, I really want them to succeed, but it takes a lot of work and an owner that's hands on. McDonald's down the street isn't the best, but at least the franchise owner and his family all take part in making their...
Read moreI've rarely been inside the restaurant, so I gave it a four based on the few times I have. I usually use the drive-thru.
The food is fantastic for fast food. The burgers are cooked perfectly, still juicy, never underdone or overcooked. The only other places that manage this are Wendy's (and maybe A&W from time to time), but their prices are often about 50% higher.
The staff have always treated me well, and I’ve always tried to be polite in return. Mistakes happen, we're all human, but every time there’s been an issue, it’s been corrected without fuss. Overall, the service has been top-tier. I've been coming here regularly for about a year, usually every weekend.
This place is my go-to. Honestly, the only real competitor in my...
