Canton Cafe — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Went there last summer. Sadly, first and last time visiting. They state on the restaurant that they serve both Chinese and Canadian food, we asked about the hamburger platter and the waitress told us it was meant for sharing so we ordered one for the two of us (the price also indicated it was bigger than the individual hamburger). Once it arrived, in actually consisted of the smallest hamburger I've ever been served and a lot of french fries. The meat was so overcooked it was hard. My husband ordered another burger and the quality of the meat was so bad it had hard chunks in it that were impossible to chew and it was also overcooked. We were disappointed because the food also took so long to arrive we were already too hundry and had no other option but to eat it, but that wasn't a pleasant experience at all so even though we were hungry, we didn't...

I went to the Canton Cafe for the first time in many years. It wasn't a great experience at all. The server was very nice but when we complained that our ribs were tasteless and over microwaved and not edible, he apologized for them and took them away. When he brought the bill he said tell the guy at the cash your ribs weren't good and you didn't eat them. So we mentioned it to the cash guy and he shrugs and says "We have lots of customers, everyone get the same, everyone pay." I told him if they were fine we would have eaten them. He again shrugs and says "everyone get same everyone pay." I told him they were clearly over microwaved and like rubber not good at all. He again says "everyone get same everyone pay". I say I'll pay but I will NOT be back! What a joke for...

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I have been eating here for atleast the past 10 years and I will never again!! I live in the country now amd spent easily $20 in gas yesterday not to mention time to drive there and home for simply chicken balls chicken 4 extra fried rice and 3 eggrolls and they only filled the chicken ball order, naturally I called back and explained and after 20 minutes on the phone they agreed to redo the order and for pick up the next day (today). Called in today to make sure the order was ready for pick up and they sent a single order and then expected me to drive back in to show my recipete once again to get it rite!!
