MR Seafoods Inc. — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Excellent products. Hit or miss customer service. Accompanied my 90 year old mother to purchase lobster to take back on the plane. We went in a few days earlier to place the order. Woman behind the counter was a condescending to my mother when she asked a few reasonable questions about flying back with lobster. She kind of winked at me as though I'd be in on the joke. I wasn't. I know that dealing with the public can be trying and just a reminder that we'll all be old some day, but I think the staff may need to take a few sensitivity classes regarding dealing with an older population. The fact I need to state this, pains me.

Finally, the lobster was packed to fly back but leaked going through security at the airport. Security guy was able to provide a big plastic bag. Maybe wrap the box in plastic (or something more environmentally sound) going forward if leaking is a possibility. Especially with seafood. On a plane.

Again, despite these customer service issues, the products MR Seafood sells are excellent. We'll definitely recommend and return but I do hope these few issues are...

They are AMAZING! I called a day ahead to get cooked lobster for a flight. Each box can hold approximately 6 lobsters. You get the choice of fresh or cooked.

The staff explained how to sure the lobster before the flight. They indicated how to place said lobsters in the carrying box and how to arrange the frozen products that will keep the lobsters chilled.

Now, I snuck a sample of the lobsters before I packed them up........OMG! I could have eaten the whole lobster right then and there. So good

Also the lobster are a substantial size. They also have other fresh and frozen products. Huge shout out to the staff that were super helpful and grateful to the Islanders for...

Great seafood, but unfortunately, horrible customer service.

Our tourist group went in to buy some fresh seafood, and as one of the only seafood stores open early in the season, we were excited to purchase some quality local seafood from the area. Unfortunately, the two girls (one with a pixie cut, another a brunette with glasses) were extremely rude when finalizing our purchase. They were very blunt and their tone felt extremely cold when answering our questions. We felt like we didn't belong, and we felt a little discriminated against. Although the food was great, we did not have a good experience purchasing seafood at this shop, and as a result, we will not be back....
