Shaddy's Restaurant — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Extremely bad experience. People are nice here in PEI. That's why they got 4 stars. I came from montreal. Restaurant like this would not survive at all. Usuaully I don't leave bad comments. Unless... I don't even know what to say. Let me tell u my experience guys. And i hope the manager could see my comment as well and plz do some improvements otherwise u would never know your restaurant has so many problems remaining unfixed. First. We entered the place standing there and waiting to be served. One of their waitresses actually saw us standing there right in a open space but surprisingly she ignored us. My gf wanted to leave but i insisted. To see how long we shall wait till got treated like normal clients instead of baggers. We waited another 3mins and finally we got settled down. After I finished my order. I waited for like another 40 mins (I noticed that there weren't many of clients by the time that I went there ) and the meal was also far from what I expected. I ordered something named by platters, turned out that 70% of it was fries. I wonder what took u guys so long to make such a plate of fries. My gf is a professional cook who works in PEI. Even she couldn't believe it and wondered why they mixed up beef sauce with chicken. And also it's also very expensive.(especially for a plate of which the majority was fries) However, I was not planning to leave any bad comments. But what happened next after lunch really made me mad. The running water was not allowing me to wash my hands. Cuz it only came out HOT water and they didn't leave any notice at all. I was on a one day trip to PEI and by coincidence i had an absolutely wonderful experience at this authentic Lebanese restaurant . From the moment I walked in, the owners greeted me with warmth and genuine smiles. The food was beyond words; each dish was a delightful journey through the authentic flavors of Lebanon. The service was impeccable, and the owners were incredibly friendly and attentive. Thank you for this exceptional experience that combined outstanding hospitality with irresistible cuisine. We had Shaddy’s cater our wedding of 80 people, and they did an excellent job. Joseph was very professional, and the food was very tasty and well presented.

All good was delivered on time and warm. He had warmers available to rent as well, to ensure food remains hot. All of our guests loved it, with many saying it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. The cost was reasonable, much less than a full sit down meal with other island caterers. I didn’t feel that there was a “wedding tax” that I experienced from other caterers.
