M & R Resto — Restaurant in Chelsea

I used to live in Chelsea and was a regular customer at M & R. I have family visiting from Scotland and took them to M & R for a poutine and pogo. The server was so upset that we walked in she starting throwing her pad and pen on the counter. She was aggressive, unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. If you want simple and unpretentious food, this is the place. Can’t go wrong with a poutine (perfect amount of gravy). They even offer breakfast. The place is small, only a few tables to sit and eat but the atmosphere is nice, hasn’t changed in years. Although service is not the most welcoming, they’re nice and fast. Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The customer service could use a lot of work. The lady doesn't smile or feel welcoming. She will talk bad about you in French after not being upfront that they don't take credit or debit cards. Cash only. Obviously it's inconvenient to your customers after everything was already cooked. Everyone uses debit or credit to pay. So perhaps appropriate signs need to be made or mention...
