COBS Bread — Restaurant in Chestermere

Smells wonderful when you enter, but the items are overpriced for what you get. It's conveniently located in the town but to be honest, farmer market stuff is more delicious. I wish they put more Apple in the actual pastry because when I got home and took a bite, all i taste was bread. The pastry was definitely not stuffed with as much Apple as it looks, it was more like sprinkles of apple instead. It was a disappointing. The cinnamon bun was good but I would not go out of my way to get it. To be honest, Pillsbury dough makes them better. Other then that I don't think this store is special. Was quite happy driving to Chestermere for bread from Cobs! Staff I interacted with were courteous and friendly , willing to assist. That was until There was a restriction on how many products I was allowed without calling ahead first. Did not think asking for 4-5 loaves of bread was a lot, but I guess it was for some of the staff to handle at one time! Very disappointed in some of the staff for turning a loyal customer away. I wonder how the owner will feel that his staff is turning away customers? Don't plan on returning. I've been to cobs bakeries all over canada.And I must say, this location is by far one of the best as far as food taste atmosphere and definitely service. My fiancé, and I came here every morning for breakfast. Nothing like fresh big savory breads it was also nice to meet the owner. A very stand up guy, a gentleman for sure.
