I used to work here before I moved away from the Wack. The first owner was pretty ok, but everything went downhill after he sold the business. The new owner, Gurmeet, cut corners wherever he could.
One of my main responsibilities while I was working there was to clean the soft serve machines. After Gurmeet took over, it became damn near impossible to get new parts. Over time, the gaskets in the pumping system stretch out and degrade. Tears form where fungus and bacteria can grow. When I said I needed née gaskets for the machine, Gurmeet told me to put them in a baggie, squeeze all the air out, and wait a couple months. Another thing I needed was a new red cylinder, not sure what it was called. It is also part of the pumping system, and ice cream is supposed to go through it. There was some kind of liquid trapped inside, and I couldn't drain it. Gurmeet just ignored the problem. The ice cream is, more than likely not clean.
Workers were also treated unfairly while I worked there. One of my other responsibilities while I worked there was the stock order. During one of my shifts, I threw out my back, and future shifts saw me hurting my knee, and my hip. Gurmeet refused to let me switch up my responsibilities while I recovered from these injuries because he didn't want to pay extra people to do the stock order. He wanted me on that task because I was capable of doing it on my own, even while dealing with injuries. I am still dealing with pain in my hip and back from those injuries. I once caught covid while working there, and Gurmeet kept trying to get me back on shift while I was sick. Finally, multiple coworkers ended up quitting after realizing they'd been being shorted on their paychecks. I noticed my paycheck get smaller despite my hours staying the same. If you're working there, check your paychecks, keep a log of your hours, and make sure your wages aren't...
Read moreIâm writing this in disappointment, I every now and then like to get a crispy chicken ranch snack wrap, I would have to argue that it is the best simple fast food chicken snack wrap on the market, yeah maybe sometimes they load it with a little too much sauce, for that I say shame on whoever thinks that 1/2 a cup of sauce is acceptable on that small of a wrap with the word snack in the name. To my issue for the past two times I have ordered one of these beautiful specimens, I go to take a bite and I am hit by the most over powering flavour of nothing but heat, only to look down and see that horrific orange sauce!! Now I am one to appreciate a good hot sauce every now and again but this sauce cannot even begin to try and call itself a sauce. It tastes like some who has never tasted chipotle sauce but only remembers the burn of any type of hot sauce made it and they hate their job. I got the unfortunate pleasure to taste whatever âhot sauceâ they use in those wraps and I cannot imagine nor do I want to meet the person who genuinely enjoys that sauce. If I could add the picture of that dreadful thing sitting in my garbage can barely touched with the piece I sadly put in my mouth hoping, trusting that I would be exactly what I had said â one crispy chicken ranch wrap â before realizing once again everything was drenched in that terrible sauce. Please remove that sauce off the menu, it will save DQ as a Corporation money and no one will miss or even remember this horrible mistake you have decided to call a hot sauce. Thank you for you...
Read moreABSOLUTELY RACIST AND RUDE EVENING STAFF WHO DIDNT FIX THEIR MISTAKE . I ordered my blizzard in the drive thru and it was made wrong (Reeseâs but tasted like fruit) . So I went in to have it remade . I was polite while doing so and as I was telling the young lady at the counter another young employee was chatting in at her in their mother language. Then I noticed that all the staff (blizzard and brazier areas) were all laughing and as the second young lady finished what she was saying while looking at me , then a male staff member (while still talking in their mother tongue) stared directly at me and said something, then laughed and turned around ( he was in the brazier area) . Then the young lady who took my blizzard handed me back my ânewâ blizzard.i leave the store while a male staff member hollers something again. I get to my car and have a bite of my blizzard and it still tastes like fruit. She literally handed me back the same dessert.
My recommendation is to not go to this Dairy Queen unless you speak their language and can converse with them. They are rude and snarky , lazy and donât do their simple job correctly (and I can say that as I worked there as a...
