We do not eat outside very much as we enjoy our own home cooking. However, when we do need to go out to eat at times, it is very hard for us to find a place for dining with no regret ( almost all places serve alcohol and it doesn't feel right as muslims to end up eating at such places, even sushi restaurants! ). Eventually, we have found Chilliwack Kabab owned by a Syrian brother who does an excellent job. All the meat is halal + no alcohol and it is a nice, peaceful little restaurant to be at, for families with kids especially. I strongly recommend this place and also encourage especially our muslim brothers and sisters in Chilliwack and those who visit Chilliwack from far, to come and eat at Chilliwack Kabab Restaurant even if it is not your type of food, come and give it a try at least in order to support a muslim family's business for the sake of Allahu Teala. Look at the Jews' place just across the street and look how well they are doing. Why not support a muslim brother and see him succeed as well. We should all support each other and that is how Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam...
Read moreVisited Chilliwack Kabab based on a recommendation, and loved it! I love Middle Eastern cuisine because I find it so satisfying in terms of freshness and flavour, and Chilliwack Kabab had this dialed in. We tried numerous items on the menu including chicken shawarma with chef’s special sauce, a Kabab platter and a falafel platter. We found everything we tried on the menu tantalizing. We debated ordering more when we were done, not because we were hungry but because it was just so delicious! The platters have numerous contents which complement eachother beautifully when you eat “around” your dish, which you really should do to discover these delicate nuances. The establishment is very clean and comfortable with several large booths that can accommodate families. I brought my family and my young daughters loved the falafel, rice, pita and mostly, the beef Kabab! The baclava is honestly, to die for! Can’t wait to return...
Read moreThis literally is the epitome of the hidden gem. A completely off the radar hidden gem . We went in it was empty more than likely the family was settling in for the Sundays work. We ordered a chicken dish a beef kebab dish and some kind of salad dish with taboliegh. It took a little time to prepare the food. Everything was fresh and everything was delicious. There did not appear to be any shortcuts taken and Nothing seemed reheated or pre prepared . This place hits far above the weight class of Chilliwack eatery . If it was someone else more urban there would most likely be a line up outside. Everything I tasted thier was perfect and it was like being at someone's house for dinner . A bit warm inside no ac . The place was also spotlessly clean. This will become a go too place when visiting Chilliwack. A...
