They don’t ask for clarification if they mishear you. they just do what they think they heard. Didn’t toast one sandwich even though I asked for both to be toasted then had to wait for the second one to go in but the staff just moved on to help the next person which is fine with a line up but then my subs just sat there getting cold and the 3 of them just served the next three people and let mine sit there with me standing directly in front of them I had to ask twice and raise my voice to see if anyone would eventually help me when they realized they forgotten about the two subs at the end! I think they thought they were delivery/tak out subs but I felt super neglected and I’m a small quiet person so I get that often. They didn’t offer to rewarm them or start a new one. Then got the toppings wrong and said they didn’t have mustard when I saw them open a pack and use it on the sub before me. When I questioned that they then got the mustard. So now I’m home with my partner eating a cold sub with anger….that I paid for!!

Read moreWhen I went into Subway tonight it seemed a bit chaotic at first. The two workers we're frantically trying to keep up with the dinnertime crowd. There was a customer in front of me that said they only wanted spinach but the worker put on lettuce. The customer then kept repeating they just wanted spinach too quickly and rudely for the worker to react. The customer was quite rude with their words, tone and body language, and the workers continued to do their job politely. I told the customer patience is a virtue. When I was paying for my dinner, I told the worker not to let it get to her the customer was probably having a bad day. The worker said their fridge stopped working today so they didn't have all the ingredients (like spinach) and could only offer brown bread. I told the worker they are doing their best with what they could offer at the moment. To me that is outstanding service and we all have days that are chaotic.
