RIB&CHICKEN Chunggiwa — Restaurant in City of Langley

My wife and I found ourselves about to drive to Vancouver from Langley at about 10pm on a weekday night. She was craving ribs quite suddenly and nothing is open past ten pm in Langley, while everything is open downtown. She was just tired enough however that we last ditch attempted to google something nearby.

Rib&Chicken popped up and honestly, as we drove to its location, we fully were expecting a dive. Something likely abandoned and condemed. We knew the area, and had never seen this place. However we walked in, the place was empty but we were greeted warmly and sat down.

We ended up ordering the BBQ baby back ribs. While it was cooking, they served us an egg soup and I think kimchi. When finally our meal arrive it was thankfully quite a lot (as we were sharing) and it looked amazing.

Little did we know we would spend the next half hour stuffing our bellies and finding numerus reasons to return: We would bring our parents for dinner! We would bring all of our friends! We would come late at night after events! (That is until we found out that they deliver and suddenly pizza night became Korean BBQ night). Many napkins later, and melted cheese (its weird but good) and sauteed onions later, not mention tender ribs cooked perfectly....we ate it all between ourselves and regretted nothing. We are both meat lovers and this place is pretty much just meat. They don't really have anything else like a sides of carb and salad (for example), and thank goodness for that.

Ill also be perfectly honest, that at first it seemed pricey, but by the time we finished our food, it was so worth it. However this trip only cost us $35. Some of the other items were pricier, but again, we will have no problem paying them.

Fully worth going to if you are a meat eater, and appreciate it cooked to perfection, served on a burner, and mixed with onions and cheese (again,...

Food is good but customer service is not from my last experience. So I come in during a weekend and pay but debit card. So I tap my card on the machine and the lady there told me the wifi is messed so it was loading but didn't go through. So I decided to pay cash and right before I was about to leave my brother tells to check my transaction if it did go through, so it we be easier to deal with right away.

So I look at my transaction it went through. I walk inside and asked for a refund and showed the lady the transaction on my mobile banking app. She tells me to come into tomorrow and if it's still there she will refund me. I come in the next day and it's a different lady. I explain everything and she talks to the other lady over the phone about it. She tells me that her co worker declined the transaction and if it is still there after the next 2-3 business day she will etransfer me. Plus I'm not from langely, so I pretty much came in for no reason wasting my time and gas.

I waited 3 bussniess day and call in the lady tells me that they called there bank and don't see and deposit for that amount and that I need to talk to my bank. I go to my bank and they tell me they clearly see it went through and that I need to talk to them. So pretty much I'm stuck in between there bank and my bank, pointing they blame on each other. Anyways I'm pretty much down 20 bucks, but atleast I can give yall the heads up from...

I lived in Korea for two years, and have been one of the most obnoxious Korean food eaters since I left because I could never find Korean Fried chicken in the US that could get close in taste or cooking method here. Whenever people want to get fried chicken, I miserably agree but complain it will be nothing like Korean fried chicken,the best fried chicken on the entire planet. But then... Then I found Rib& Chicken. I visited my boyfriend in Langley and we came here on a whim for BBQ. The owner told me they also have yangyeom chicken so I had to try.

Y'all I almost cried because of how good this chicken is. It is so authentic - it is something we regularly order now. My boyfriend is likewise converted and doesn't want to eat any other friend chicken than the YangYeom chicken here. When he comes to visit in the states, he now brings an order all the way with him.
