Broadway Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Clarence-Rockland

Last Ambush show: was at Broadway for dinner at 6:15 pm, had a glass of wine, later Ambush music started, dancing had another glass of wine, later around 10:00 pm had another glass of wine and went to pay for my bill since I like to pay in advance and leave later. I could not pay my bill unless I give her my car keys! I tried to tell her that I was ok since I was at Broadway early, had a meal, danced and that I lived not far, I could walk even. Her approach was severe, she said I could not pay my bill unless I give her my keys.... I did not want to cause a scene, I felt humiliated since I was not drunk, I gave her my car keys and walked home (5 minutes walk). The next day Sunday morning, 7:00 am I was back at Broadway, talked with the manager and he just kept saying he was sorry but that's how it goes. In my book no I don't think so.... as a client I felt so ashamed, humiliated and...

Nice decour. Enjoyed a nice leisurely meal.. Excellent wings, lasagna, bacon cheeseburger, Caesar salad, taco salad, milkshakes and sundaes enjoyed by all. Garlic bread needs garlic. Other than that, no complaints. We were pleasantly surprised that tonight was 1/2 price wings night - Tuesday. Oh my goodness, super delicious. Very nice service. Clean establishment. Will return for sure. April 22nd, here for breakfast. Different experience, literally night and day from last experience. Asked for eggs over medium, and they arrived cooked to a leather consistency. Toast barely buttered. My guest ordered sausages with the breakfast, they were seriously overcooked. Service was good. I have reduced the 4 star rating to a 3. After 3 more visits, at different times, it's back up to 4 stars!! Well...

I haven't been to this exact location. But I did work briefly at one of the original locations. For the most part the food is pretty good. I will never eat any lettuce from any Broadways bar & grill. My first day working in the kitchen I saw the sink filled with lettuce and water. I asked about it and was told by a coworker than it was being freshen up with potato starch. The potato starch will turn the brown on the lettuce back to green. I found out this is actually illegal for any restaurant to do. Which is why I say, stay away from the salads. Since the time I worked at the original location in Orleans there have been many new locations. I would assume they've made there profits by selling bad lettuce. If your going for beer and wings. Then it's actually really good. That's all I have to say...
