Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Clarington

Took a chance on Mr. Sub and it was a miss.

The disappointment comes from the quality of the food and not the service because the service I received was excellent.

But excellent service does not make up for the fact that the sandwiches ordered were bland and tasteless.

I have a real genuine question to ask Mr. Sub and that question is what brand of mustard do you use to top your sandwiches?

Whatever brand it is it was absolutely tasteless. I had to take a bottle of mustard from my fridge and add more to taste it.

A more serious complaint I have is in regards to the salt level of your food. Way too salty. I'm a big salt my foods guy and I was having a hard time getting past the salt on my sandwich.

Why do fast food sandwich shops produce taste like nothing? It can't just be me.

I went in at about 3 pm on friday, march 28th. Unfortunately, i forgot the name of the young man who greeted me and served me, but management should be proud. He was respectful, attentive, and overall a joy to speak to, hands down the best service I have received in years. I will be back soon because my overall experience was amazing. This location in Bowmanville particularly is the top-notch location! I only visit this spot because their ingredients are always fresh, and the subs are ALWAYS made to perfection. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, especially a tall young man who works there—he provides the best service I've ever seen in a worker in my life. This guy truly deserves the recognition!!!
