We stopped here on our way through Coburg for a bit to eat and a drink. Staff was super friendly, an older gentleman, I assume the owner, was hitting all the tables and interacting with the guests. He came over and told us a joke and made sure everything was good.

The food was prepped quickly and was on point.

I ordered a draft beer and was extremely impressed with how good it tasted. I told my wife it was one of the best drafts I have had in terms of overall quality, temperature, flavour, and carbonation. I found out after that the beer lines are cleaned professionally every 30 days, and I can attest to the difference it makes in the draft beer experience. Many places neglect their taps and the experience falls short of what it should, but it would appear that Jacks Barrel House takes pride in keeping a top tier draft...

Instantly welcomed and greeted by Meghan who is as delightful as she is smart and witty. Had a few very interesting conversations where the entire staff chimed in. It was a great night and a great time.

Thank you to James who was awesome and gave me and my friend a ride back to our hotel. Overall amazing establishment. The owner should be very proud of their staff.
