Kelly's Homelike Inn — Restaurant in Cobourg

I don't generally post reviews, but what I just saw at Kelly's was actually amazing. It was a quiet night at the bar, I came in to have a beer or two and chill. An elderly patron got up to leave nearing last call, she tripped and fell. Everyone in the bar including staff rushed to her aid. She wasn't hurt at all, so she was helped up. The other patrons and staff helped her to her Walker with genuine concern for her well being. Through conversation she informed everyone that she lived very close. The bar tender (I didn't get his name) then politely asked the lady to wait safety sitting with other people as he cleaned. THEN PULLED HIS PERSONAL CAR AROUND TO DRIVE HER HOME AND ENSURE SHE GOT HOME SAFE. I for one am incredibly impressed with the human decency of the staff, and even the other patrons. It was...

Overall good service, friendly staff and central location downtown. Definitely receives a lot more hype than it deserves due to the overwhelming amount of college students who go there during holidays. One concern I did notice ( which may have changed since the last time I was there) was that the men's bathroom had only one sink, and it was in the stall with the toilet.
