Shawarma House & Pizza — Restaurant in Cobourg

Approx 2 weeks ago: Food was good, however, their employee / delivery driver drove aggressively onto / across the sidewalk in front of my wife when we arrived, luckily without hitting her. He stopped right in front of the restaurant. He got out of his white SUV wearing his pants below his a$$ so everyone could enjoy seeing his entire underwear. GROSS. Then the guy walked into the kitchen for a bit, got another delivery and sped away skidding the tires, westbound on King. What an irresponsible / sloppy person to represent your restaurant!!

OH! And their prices on line are outdated. Prepare to may more when you pick...

This place has ruined all other restaurants for me, genuinely. The spicy falafel plate is so good!!! Shake the box and mix the salad in and every bite is heaven, the dressing for the falafel and the tangy salad dressing they use just make this absolute heavenly flavour combination. The sweet lady who runs the counter/kitchen is always so kind, she says it’ll be 15 minutes but it’s almost always 5 in my experience. (Also they have a huge variety of drinks to choose from which is super sweet) This place deserves a line out the door every day! The next time you want some home cooked good...

Got the shawarma. No beef option, only chicken. No listing anywhere in the restaurant of the toppings or what comes on the wrap. You don't get to pick what they put on it. The guy had to verbally say what comes on it and can ask them exclude stuff if needed.

Also got the chicken kabab plate. Placed order and was told it would be about 10 minutes... waited nearly 30 before we got our food.

Food was OK but nothing special. Not sure why this place is so highly rated. People must mostly get the pizza... maybe they should call it "Pizza House (+ shawarma)" Looking forward to Osmow's...
