Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Collingwood

One of the most pathetic Popeyes shop in Ontario. We went yesterday on our way to blue mountains and ordered food for whole family of seven. Can you imagine it took almost 40 minutes to get that order after repeated requests. Only couple of employees were working at that time and even without gloves in the kitchen and headscarves. The height of the customer services reached when we complained to manager “RAHUL.” The young, immature and cheap manager rather than helping us out rather started insulting us by saying that we have only 2 hands and not 4 hands, which itself is an information for me. He further disgustingly remarked that if we can’t wait then it’s up to us to leave. Over and above, when we got our order after 40 minutes of wait, wrong items were delivered to us. When objected again, RAHUL, the manager said mistakes can happen and we have to wait for some more time. He didn’t even bother to apologize for courtesy or better customer services. We are taking food from Popeyes from last 15 years in Canada and such abusive, insultive and cheap customer services were not found at any other Popeyes shop. It looked like that all employees and manager all from same descent were not even told the simple meaning of customer services and they were bent upon damaging the name of Popeyes. The higher management of the chain should take cognizance of such cheap customer services especially under the authority of manager RAHuL himself. And if Popeyes know about such complaints and still encourage them to carry on than hats off to POPEYES. Will never that shop in...

I stopped by with my friends to get 8 pieces of dark chicken (as included in the Tuesday special). The gentleman that took my order did so quickly and efficiently, repeated my order to make sure it was correct. After that, I witnessed the other staff order him all over the service counter. I stood and waited for 30 minutes for my order (my order was placed at 7:07pm. I left the location at 7:40pm). In that time, I witnessed 6 people who arrived after me get their orders before me, most of which also ordered chicken piece combos. I watched them expedite order after order, skipping over my order slip. The most memorable one was an order which was placed right after mine, which was for 2 10 piece family combos, the lady got her order and left at which time I was told to wait 7 minutes, which turned out to be 20 minutes. I was given a complementary pie which had been on the warming plate for longer than I had been waiting for my food. The slap in the face was that other people who had just arrived and placed their order, also got a pie. I was tempted to make a comment on the situation but I just wanted to get home to eat my food. When I got home, I was greeted with all white dry chicken. After all that waiting and mediocre customer service, I decided to take the time out of my day to leave this review for people to see. Being a visitor to Blue Mountain only 3 or 4 times a year, I'm glad there are more options around the area. I will definitely not be coming back to this Popeye's...

Tonight was our second time here. The first visit we bought the 12 piece family pack and the food was great. There was a lot of food and good value for the money as we got a few meals out of it. Tonight we ordered 2 Cajun chicken burgers with fries. Walk all the way home and only got 1 order of fries, and 1 coleslaw with the 2 burgers?! Also the amount of fries was ridiculous...and definitely not worth the money paid. We live closer to Wendy’s and could have just gone there for dinner and actually would have got what we ordered. The other thing I noticed when looking over the previous reviews is that every 5 star reviews, everyone all basically has the same last names? Fake reviews saying everything is perfect when it’s far from it. We waited for like 6 months for this place to open and were excited to have new options close to us, but not looking like we will go as much as...
