A Wonderful Surprise Birthday Party at Fatburger – Highly Recommend!
I recently hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband at Fatburger, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and joyfully.
They kindly reserved half of the restaurant for our group of 20–30 guests and even placed “Reserved” signs all around to ensure our space stayed available — such a thoughtful touch! I was especially grateful they allowed me to bring in basic decorations and even let me bring my own birthday cake to celebrate.
The location couldn’t be better! We hosted a fun group activity next door @ activated Coquitlam, and then all walked over to Fatburger to continue the celebration. It was so convenient — I picked up the cake from T&T Supermarket right behind the restaurant, and there’s also a dollar store next door for any last-minute party supplies like balloons or birthday cards.
Ordering food was super easy — I placed our order online via DoorDash, scheduled it in advance, and paid with my credit card. The food came out exactly on time, just as planned at 4 PM, and it was hot, fresh, and delicious! Everyone loved the foods and the staff made sure we were well taken care of the whole time.
This place is perfect for birthday parties or group celebrations. It’s in a great spot surrounded by helpful amenities — EV charging stations, supermarkets, activity centers — and the Fatburger team was incredibly supportive and kind.
Thank you to the entire Fatburger Coquitlam team for making my husband’s birthday so memorable. We’ll...

You walk in. The place is spotless. You walk up. Smiles Greet you. You order. Professional. Quick. Precise. You sit. Everything You Need On the Table. You're Served. Politely Beautifully Presented Hot Fresh Food.
Let me put it to you this way.... I've been to Gastropubs with their higher prices and expensive interior and their Burger & Fries weren't nearly as good as this place.
The Swiss Mushroom Burger. The beef so tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned served right off the grill. The Mushrooms were sauteed al dente. Not raw. Not floppy. Perfect. The Bun and the melted Swiss cheese were at it like a perfect Tango. ..............The aroma of all this had me smiling before I even had my first bite.
The Curly Garlic Fries. You could feel and taste the crisp ridges of the cut of the fry gently but justly coated in fresh garlic....finishing off with the taste of moist potato flakes inside.
Their service was impressively good. Their genuine approach to serving you, follow up table checkups and friendly demeanor from all staff was...frankly...beautiful to see.
I've tried all the Fatburgers in Vancouver. How do I feel about this place? Let's just say....I'll be driving to Coquitlam from now on to quench my Burger & Fries...
Read moreI visited this Lougheed location with some family, spent over $150 dollars plus tip. We placed a big order and when we got our food, we were missing many items. When I informed the staff, we were denied and told that we never paid for such items. The person that took our order obviously made some errors and the management didn’t bother to take any responsibility for it. In fact, they were rude and unfriendly about the whole situation. When I advised the manager that my kid’s burger was missing cheese, they told me to pay for it.
It is not my fault that the staff was incompetent and couldn’t process an order. It is shameful to argue with your customer over a slice of cheese when they paid over $150 dollars and even gave you a tip. It was such a disappointing experience and it showed a big lack of respect and appreciation. This is not how you treat customers walking into your establishment.
Reading some negative reviews about this business, you can see the lack of genuine care in the copied and pasted responses from the “owner”. It is always the same response to every negative feedback. “Sorry, we strive to do the best that we can”. Instead of actually trying to understand the customer’s feedback, they will just ignore your review and call it a day....
