Pappa Leo's Pizza — Restaurant in Coquitlam

I recently had the pleasure of trying Papa Leo’s in Coquitlam, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the double cheeseburger pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—and the toppings were generous and full of flavor.

The pepperoni pizza had just the right amount of spice, with a classic taste that was spot-on. The double cheeseburger pizza, on the other hand, was a unique and delightful surprise. The combination of flavors truly mimicked a cheeseburger, and it worked so well on a pizza base. It was hearty, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

I’ve been eating Papa Leo’s Schoolhouse Pizza for over a decade, and today — on Thanksgiving — I finally felt it’s time to write a review.

Mustafa was working alone today, giving his staff a well-deserved break, yet still managing everything with a smile and a grateful heart. The quality of the food has always been consistent, and the place is spotless clean every single time I visit.

While I was waiting for my regular pepperoni, I noticed he was juggling nearly 20 orders — all because someone didn’t bother to order ahead. But there was not a hint of frustration, only calmness and gratitude radiating from him.

Papa Leo’s isn’t just about great pizza — it’s about great people behind it. I’m proud to support Mustafa and his business, and I’ll happily keep coming back for many years to come.

The taco pizza is horrible! No flavor...huge awkward chunks of lettuce..(might want to shred it!) And it might actually taste like something if you put some salsa on it! The double bacon cheeseburger pizza not much better...and overdone, almost burnt! Will not be ordering from here again!!

I stand corrected!! First of all I had the wrong store & I sincerely apologize. It was the Barnet Hwy store. Second, the owner reached out to me (albeit from the wrong store!) to make it right & right he did! I gave him another chance and he personally made me 2 more pizzas (one for free!). These 2 were much better, actually they were quite tasty. I had the pesto chicken & the BC favorite. I am revising to 4 stars. So I just want to say thank u for caring & the attention to customer service. Not something I'm used to...
