The food was just normal nothing special, and it feels like you can easily find the foods in the restaurant in your home if you are Korean. The waitress was impatient, and felt like she was rushing us to quickly order without fully going over the menu and choosing them. The gestures and the way how the waitress talks to us felt bit rude and disappointing. Some meat with a bone inside of a soup wasn’t hot enough, felt like someone cooked with the meat that was leftover, and it was bit tough. Lastly it would’ve been better if the menu had English too. It kind of feels like if you don’t know Korean, just go back or you don’t have other choice than choosing from the menu that has picture. It was kind of disappointing to me that some people that doesn’t know Korean foods and culture might get confused and might get a bad impressions and stereotypes from this restaurant. Personally it needs and it will be better if this restaurant haves some improvements on these things that I mentioned, and reflect on the things that has been already reviewed from someone else that thinks this restaurant needs an...

When I entered, the solo server pointed for me to barcode scan for English menu, and to sit down at a table. Through my time there, I started noticing contrasting treatment by the solo server to Korean customers vs non-Koreans (like me). To any Korean customers who came in, the server offered warm greetings, personally led them to their tables and served hot tea or cold water right away. On the contrary, no tea was brought until I waved at her to order.

I ordered Gam Ja Tang (spicy pork bone soup). In all the other Korean restaurants, the pork in the soup would be falling off the bones tender and the potato would be soaking in the good flavour of the soup base. NOT what I have today 😭. The three pieces of pork were all dry and difficult to pull from the bones. The few pieces of meat I was able to separate from the bones tasted dry and bland (nothing like the soup). The 1 piece of potato I found in the soup was also rock hard and not cooked through, nonetheless tasteless.

For the lack of warmth at non-Korean customers and poorly cooked Gam Ja Tang, I will not recommend this...

Drove here to get some dinner, was very disappointed. Service was HORRIBLE, I don’t know about others, but there was this one waiter that had basically no patience. First off, we couldn’t read the menu since it was all in Korean, when we asked her, she said there were QR codes that we had to scan on our phones for the English version and just walked away. We had to track her down again just to tell her that there was nothing to scan. She grunted and followed us back to our table, she then grabbed a small plastic sign from another table(with QR code) and rudely threw it at our table and mumbled ā€œsorryā€, and walked away. Also, she got pretty pissed when we told her that we only ordered 1 plate of blood sausage when she brought us 2. Don’t come if you don’t know Korean or just get take out. Food was ok, but...

I visited this place again after a long time, but unfortunately, both the taste and quality of the food had significantly declined. The extra-large Sundae soup didn’t seem extra-large at all, and the broth was quite bland. The stir-fried beef intestines were overly salty and came in a very small portion. These weren’t dishes I was trying for the first time, which made the disappointment even greater. I couldn’t even finish my meal. Additionally, the server seemed indifferent and never once checked on our table, despite there being only three occupied tables in total. I wanted to have more tea, but I never got the chance to ask. With so many Korean restaurants in this area, I now have one less place to consider when deciding where to eat.

My ratings: 1 star - do not go here! Stay away!! 2 stars - I do not recommend it. 3 stars - alright to good. I would not return here but you MAY enjoy it. 4 stars - I recommend it! Yes, I’d like to return. 5 stars - drop everything now and come here! You are missing out fo shizzle!! The best SoonDae ever!!!!!! Just order #1 from the menu. We paired GamJaJeon and MakGeolLee. An excellent choice. The parking in the front is very limited. We would have been better served if there were signs informing of more parking underground behind the building. However, the best SoonDaeKook was sure worthy it.
