The food was just normal nothing special, and it feels like you can easily find the foods in the restaurant in your home if you are Korean. The waitress was impatient, and felt like she was rushing us to quickly order without fully going over the menu and choosing them. The gestures and the way how the waitress talks to us felt bit rude and disappointing. Some meat with a bone inside of a soup wasnāt hot enough, felt like someone cooked with the meat that was leftover, and it was bit tough. Lastly it wouldāve been better if the menu had English too. It kind of feels like if you donāt know Korean, just go back or you donāt have other choice than choosing from the menu that has picture. It was kind of disappointing to me that some people that doesnāt know Korean foods and culture might get confused and might get a bad impressions and stereotypes from this restaurant. Personally it needs and it will be better if this restaurant haves some improvements on these things that I mentioned, and reflect on the things that has been already reviewed from someone else that thinks this restaurant needs an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I entered, the solo server pointed for me to barcode scan for English menu, and to sit down at a table. Through my time there, I started noticing contrasting treatment by the solo server to Korean customers vs non-Koreans (like me). To any Korean customers who came in, the server offered warm greetings, personally led them to their tables and served hot tea or cold water right away. On the contrary, no tea was brought until I waved at her to order.
I ordered Gam Ja Tang (spicy pork bone soup). In all the other Korean restaurants, the pork in the soup would be falling off the bones tender and the potato would be soaking in the good flavour of the soup base. NOT what I have today š. The three pieces of pork were all dry and difficult to pull from the bones. The few pieces of meat I was able to separate from the bones tasted dry and bland (nothing like the soup). The 1 piece of potato I found in the soup was also rock hard and not cooked through, nonetheless tasteless.
For the lack of warmth at non-Korean customers and poorly cooked Gam Ja Tang, I will not recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDrove here to get some dinner, was very disappointed. Service was HORRIBLE, I donāt know about others, but there was this one waiter that had basically no patience. First off, we couldnāt read the menu since it was all in Korean, when we asked her, she said there were QR codes that we had to scan on our phones for the English version and just walked away. We had to track her down again just to tell her that there was nothing to scan. She grunted and followed us back to our table, she then grabbed a small plastic sign from another table(with QR code) and rudely threw it at our table and mumbled āsorryā, and walked away. Also, she got pretty pissed when we told her that we only ordered 1 plate of blood sausage when she brought us 2. Donāt come if you donāt know Korean or just get take out. Food was ok, but...
