I had a horrible experience at this Subway last week. Long story short there was two people possibly high on drugs in the store. I was coming in with my children around 6pm after their jujitsu classes. As we pulled up there was a male in his twenties crying so loud it was more of a scream. A woman came out and got him. This behaviour continued inside and outside the store. We were ordering in the store, the swearing and yelling escalated to the point I was straight up angry. I asked the people who worked there if they were going to deal with this or did I have to, they said these people are there all the time and it's what they do. I stood there and stared at them in shock. My children are being subjected to this situation just because we came to this Subway for dinner. The people left when I raised my voice and demanded something to be done. The owner called me the next day, he was a jerk, he told me he has three Subways (who cares) and this is the first time something like this had happened. Making excuses that his young staff is not trained to deal with these situations, they were frightened. He didn't care that my eight and ten year old were frightened and in my opinion is way worse. He told me that to expect this behaviour and language at his store at the lunch hour and at 2 am in the morning, it happens everyday. We came at a dinner hour and my kids should not be exposed to this. If they happen to be there and this is happening it should be someone at the store in control and dealing with the problem, not leave it up to the customer. He offered to throw me two 6 inch sub gift certificates for my trouble. There are a lot of Subways around I would avoid this one. I know I will. Scaring my kids, there was potential to traumatize them if the customer (ME) didn't scare them off....
Read moreBeen a customer of this location for 3 decades and today was the worst all around experience. The place is quite literally a joke. The service is horrible, I wasn’t greeted or even acknowledged until almost 40 seconds after I walked in and even then I was just told they need more time….I was the only customer in there and both of employees saw me walk in and made eye contact but said nothing and just went about being busy with what appeared to be prep work. It took them a full 2 minutes since I walked in for them to actually help me and by then a queue of 6 more customers had lined up behind me. So service is just abysmal, there is no making the customer feel important, there is no level of urgency, there was no friendliness or a smile and saying hello?
Ok, well let’s hope the food is good….. no, not at all, they now slice their meat paper thin and barely place any on the sandwich and to add insult to injury, they barely add any veggies either.
This place and the brand is just awful now and I won’t be returning because they don’t deserve my hard earned money.
If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and skip this place (maybe skip this brand all together), be wiser about where you spend your hard earned money, and where you actually are acknowledged and given respect as a patron. Opt instead to give your business to locally owned and operated businesses that actually provide service, a great customer experience and above all that, a product worthy of the money you...
