Deluxe French Fries — Restaurant in Dieppe

Aug 6, 2022 super time 4pm PAUL ST. 3 piece fishNchip platter is "Not" what deluxe was 10yrs ago or in the last 3-5yrs.. Few fries?? Fish was the same, always abit greasy but good. I see mainly ( 95%) foreigners working there now so quanity and quality is very low now!! Where are the regular employees there for long time go?? What is going on with greater moncton restaurants? All selling their business's to whom do not care about service kindness or quality. Serve less pay more attitudes now? Are they trained by regulars? I SEE NO REGULARS EMPLOYEES. No more for me... And I will tell everyone I know, not to go there unless they have a full paycheck and then still be hungry after you ate a ripped off serving. I used to love deluxe, but the last two times I have been there the fish is so overcooked and hard that it is inedible. I used to be in the service industry so I try to be understanding but twice in as many times is unfortunately too much even for me. I realize that I could have taken it back but I shouldn't have to. The cook could clearly see that it was overcooked and they should have fixed it before serving it. Not put a whole lot of fries on top of the fish and hope it passes unnoticed. Unfortunately it will be my last time going to deluxe for awhile. Another thing that was very surprising and noticeable was how dirty the place was. The garbage was overflowing to the point that you could not put anything else in it and all the tables were dirty. I was there at 5:00pm and it was not busy. It was my first visit as my co-worker brought me there to try the fries. The cashier may not be in the mood. I wasn't so sure with what to order so I asked the cashier in a very polite and nicely manner what she can suggest like most first timers do but I got a condescending response from her. I wasn't sure if that was some kind of a racially motivated response from her so I tried to observe her while waiting for my number to be called. A couple (majority race) went to order to this same cashier and they were getting the same response. I would love to think now that it wasn't because of my color why she acted that way.
